Oh dear - what a day! They say bad things happen in threes so perhaps you have had your share now!
Hopefully you can recover the information from your phone.
Will your flat mate not replace the liqui-tabs he has used?!
You haven't done anything wrong with regards to the HR issue so don't worry. I am sure they are only taking action now to protect themselves and if you are getting on well with your current boss they are unlikely to want to rock the boat.
These things come to test us but the way you have reacted to the phone and liqui-tab issues just shows how you are changing your mind-set in terms of money! :T Keep up the good work - it will pay dividends in the long run.0 -
Make sure you're janked your SD card out (It's probably under the battery next to the SIM) and give that a try in the new phone as well. You may have all your photos on that.
Ok done. Thanks.Santander 0% £1,529.94

I hope I've had my share!!!
I don't know, i hope so, if he puts more in the cupboard then i will assume they are for us to share...to be fair he is usually v good and I was just really frustrated this am so it annoyed more than it would have done normally
Yes and current boss is aware of the whole situation and seem to want to see the right thing done too so hopefully it will sort itself.
Thanks, you're right. The old me would have ordered a new phone on my credit card immediatley, I wish I was joking but Im not so at least im in the right mindset that I need to save for a new one if this doesnt fix!

Hi Londongirl, ive been catching up with your diary and enjoying reading!
Just coming out from lurking to offer some advice re the phone. Put it into a bag of white rice. This absorbs the water and has worked for the 2 people I have told about it. The last one ended up in a mop bucket too!! Hope this helps xxMummytogirls x0 -

the caffeine drink was a bad Idea...I have my second episode of caffeine psychosis in less than two weeks
the first resulted in a one night stay in the psych ward...lovely - not least with all the cig buts in the toilet (cos some numpty govt minister up here has decided to make psych units smoke free indoors but often there's not enough staff to take patients outside for a smoke so they smoke in the loos. Bring back the smoking room is what I say :A...Have emailed the planet about it
....Cos I'm nice
....
Don't quite know what I'm going to do about this second one...Have emailed my consultant and his boss and a few nurses I know asking if this is possible.....Anything is possible on google so don't really know...
But 3 hours after and a confused deluded me (trying desperately to hide it on here but barely able to type) figures it's the caffeine.....

Psychosis is fair to middling....LOL
Just no walks outside and sleep in the hallway tonight (on a mattress behind my front door) and I should be fine...I have some anti psychotic pills from the doctor if I need them...No sweat...

Regarding the Phone - The longer you leave it to dry, the more chance you have of it coming back on. (I know the temptation to switch it on to see if it works can be high) as it was in I am assuming non sticky water (like Coke, Coffee) you might just get away with it. Make sure you take the battery out (if you can on that phone - what phone is it?) and when you try it again, try switching it on with the power (charger) plugged in but the battery out. The battery may have died in the water and can sometimes stop a phone from coming on even if the phone itself is ok.
Depending on what phone you have will depend on where it has stored your calendar.
Hopefully all will be ok with it.
Best Of Luck
