Thanks Joey, you're right actually normally I would teach them my way of doing but actually I should handover the role and let them take it on. Thanks.
Very exciting, only 19 to go after today!
In other good news, M did get promoted at work today which is great! We are having celebratory Nandos tonight which is perfect as it's inexpensive and can be SW friendly!
I'm off on Friday, using up a day's annual leave. I am riding in the morning to practise for the riding competition at the stables on Sunday and then will catch up on housework and I think I'll plan a date night for M and I, it's been a while since we dolled up and went out together!

Fantastic news about the promotion - and a celebration is definitely in order. Its all coming together for you both.
And the other thing about handing the work over is that you aren't going to be around to help them out for long so the sooner they take it on the better for them too. You'll be out the door before you know it.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

YAY!!! you must be so excited - d day is looming! not long left on those commutes.
Its great to still be close enough to go to London when you chose rather than when you have to go up and work 9-5. Glad you are making the most of your time left... xx

Thanks guys! 19 to go now! Not long at all!
M has just dropped the bombshell that as part of his promotion he has to go on a course for 4 weeks - waiting to find out if he gets to come back at weekends or not. Problem is, one of his close friends gets married on a Friday in the middle of the course so it's not looking good for him going to that which will be a shame.
Also he won't be around for me leaving work here or the first few weeks of my new jobbad timing!!! But must be done I suppose, I'll manage!
The girl who works for me spoke to me today and said she's started the process of looking for a new job which I'm pleased about, hopefully she finds something good!
Need to pop out and find something for lunch now, need to decide what to have before I leave so I don't get led astray by my tummy!

That's a shame the timing isn't good for you to support each other. But he won't be there when you are at work even if he is at home when you get back.
So you will just have to moan and cheer on here until he gets back!! And there's always your accounting books if things get too dullI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Very true Mark - thank you!!!
Hi gang!
16 more to go, getting there! My replacement starts tomorrow WOO HOO! Can't wait to hand it all over!
Unfortunately the MSE and SW side of things are slipping at the moment, everyone is trying to see me before I leave London which is resulting in a lot of lunches, dinners and drinks planned over the next few weeksI am making the best suggestions where I can but it's hard! And I'm falling into the mindset that after I move I won't be out much and so I should just make the most of it now... sort of true but it won't help the bank balance or the waistline!
Its annoying as I felt so good about my body last week and this week I just feel bloated and frumpy again! Oh well, I can blitz the fitness to pass the time while the boy is away.
Oh! I did my second riding competition at the stables last weekend! It was great! We came 5th out of 7 in our dressage test - which is actually OK considering I was nervous as hell and didn't get her to bend and we rushed a few of the transitions. It's good though as they write up a report on you so you know exactly what to work on next time.
Also, in the jumping we went clear which is awesome as she NEVER goes clear! So we got two rosettes and I was pleased as punch!
This weekend we are off up to Derby for a friends wedding, the hotel is £90 each for the two nights so not too bad and I already have an outfit picked out. Should be good, four of us are driving up from the south. On the way back we are having Sunday lunch with Mum and Dad which will be nice!

Morning all!
Weekend was great, wedding was brilliant fun and met some nice new people. Saw mum and dad for lunch on the way back which was a bonus!
It was pay day last week so I budgeted out for the month, it's an expensive one but do-able. I am knuckling down to some MSE ways to help it all along. Next month I'll have some pay from old job and some pay from new job, I hope new job add me to payroll in time to get paid for the week in July at the end of July as I'll need it for my holiday spends.
I am out tonight with my new company, they've invited me out for a curry to meet some of my colleagues which will be good, hopefully they still like me! It's nice that I will have met quite a few people already before I start, makes it a bit easier.
12 more commutes to go!
WOOP!

Wow, almost in single figures. You'll find it goes much quicker now. Glad you had a good weekend, and hope that your budgeting works out for you. Why not ask your new employers if they have all they need to get you on the payroll in time - at least if they say that it will not happen then you'll know and can plan/borrow from your EF etc. Given they seem so approachable, then it would be a good time to ask them.
Hope they're still as lovely as you remember.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

Thanks guys! 11 more to go now... almost there!!!
Great night with them last night, met a few more people and all really nice! I am so nervous about starting though, I really hope I can live up to their expectations it seems they are expecting a lot from me so I really hope I can do it!
Good idea Joey, I will email the HR girl and ask!
Lovely day in London today, just went out for some fresh air as our office is very stuffy. Bought some Percy Pigs to share with T, couldn't resist!
Just had a nice lunch with leftovers risotto and added vegetables and chicken. Cheap and delish. Said to M the other night that we MUST get our grocery bill down, we spend way too much! Might peruse the grocery boards this afternoon - I have zero work to do other than answer my replacements many questions so I'm starting to get bored!
