Well done on living a month without credit cards. Great news about your friend too.
Best crack on as I have lots to do today including contacting the local storage company to ask how much they would charge me to store the contents of my flat, furniture and all.0 -

Wow, that snowball calculater is really good. It showed me that I could pay it off a year quicker than what I currently am!
I need to dig out all my paper work to check I put everything in correctly (If anything on 2 of them I put it in too high) but that would be amazing. It's showing as June 2013 whereas I had April 2014 in mind!!!
I did it 4 times at £50 intervals of what I think I can pay off. If I can keep up paying off between £600-£700 a month then I can have this nipped pretty damn quickly. This is much more positive than what I thought it would be!
I have been going wrong thinking I need to get the credit cards paid off quicker. It turns out if I can get rid of my loans first it is most cost effiecient then just leaves me to deal with the credit cards after.
I know I can make overpayments on my loan which is good so I'm going to dig out the paperwork tonight and look into that. I might use my savings accounts (currently zilch) to transfer extra money to during the month then make a payment at the end of each month towards it.Santander 0% £1,529.94

I think my 0% interest free period is coming to an end soon on my halfiax c card - currently at just over £4k.
According to Experian my credit rating is in the top category so v good
Tesco have a 0% for 15 months offer, I could have it all paid off in this time.
To me, this seems sensible to balance transfer the lot over and save on interest. Can it do my any harm to apply?
