A reasonably successful weekend in all. I did spend £9 today as I went to friends to make a dent in her sofa and we ordered pizza, unnecessary but still within budget.
Need as many NSD's this week as possible, might mean cancelling a social engagement or two though... We'll see how it goes.Santander 0% £1,529.94

I need NSD's this week too. I'm really trying to get to next payday without using my small overdraft. Need to keep my eye on the ball though!December 2005 TOTAL DEBT at its worst - [STRIKE]£20,596[/STRIKE]

Morning all!
Tomorrow is pay day which means I have completed 1 entire month without using a single credit card, overdraft... anything! I can't remember the last time I could say that. I feel quite proud!
Tomorrow I will post the stats for the month so I can compare how I am doing month on month and make sure I'm staying on track.
Spent less than £20 this weekend which I'm pleased with and tomorrow I can withdraw the budget for the next week. I have lots of food in the freezer so doing well on that front.
What challenges will November bring?
Xmas shopping - HUGE challenge but planned properly I should be OK
Formal lunch - Will need to save £10's for the week before to make sure I have enough to get me through this!
Trip home - Tickets paid for, friends birthday at her house, will buy small present but shouldnt spend on the night
2 works nights out - Ouch.
Exam - URGH I have the week before this off work so it will be a challenge to not spend money when Im sat at home studying as I procrastinate a LOT!
It's going to be a tougher month than October but i feel I have the best start possible.
No plans for the next weekend so will spend some time digging out more things to ebay/amazon and try to up my income as much as possible
Have a good Monday allSantander 0% £1,529.94

So you should. Congratulations! Now you need to just make it a habit and 'the norm' rather than something radically different. That's where I'm at too.December 2005 TOTAL DEBT at its worst - [STRIKE]£20,596[/STRIKE]

Thank you!!
I do feel like I have broken the habit of replying on credit, the next 2 months will be about getting through and spending as little as possible then in January, after xmas etc I can plan to get the debt down through every means available!!Santander 0% £1,529.94
