Evening,
In anticipation of extra money coming my way on Friday I have done an online order at Sainsburys to stock up and bulk buy on essentials and non fresh food items, order came to £72.90 with nearly £30 worth of savings then I had a quidco code for £10 off as it was my first order and I chose the cheapest delivery time for £2.75 altogether £62.90 then I'll also earn cash back and I think it will significantly reduce spending on items I use all the time, nothing on there which isn't necessary which I think is a plus of doing this online and not seeing the temptation of nice things!
Have spent all of today studying so got a good days work in, have cooked some chicken to mix with tikka sauce and mayo to make a more tasty wrap filling to tea on college nights this week.
I did pop out earlier and spend on that so no NSD today. I now have zero pounds to last till Friday! hehe! Enforced NSD's I think! LOL I might raid the change jar to buy cereal and yoghurt for breakfasts.
Booking Friday off to study and do admin on payday - hopefully paying off a loan!!! Fingers crossed I find out tomorrow!Santander 0% £1,529.94

Well done on the NSD's. I'm a little behind this month, but still another week to pick up.
Perhaps you're feeling a bit meh based on the mass emotions you've felt recently. It was so heart warming reading about what your friend is doing, how amazing she's been and the generosity of others. I really do wish her all the very best in her journey. She sounds like she more than deserves that.
Good luck with your letter tomorrow! I'll be logging on for the happy update!0 -
Hey LondonGirl - I hope the bonus letter has bought good news!
Did you have a good jumping lesson?
Sounds like you have a great attitude to the studying - it will pay off in the long run. 13 weeks isn't that long either so definately best to start how you mean to go on.0 -

Hey all!
So got my letter! Im pretty pleased, £1,750 and £175 worth of free shares. So after tax I reckon I'll have about £1,100 in my pay packet. So, going to call Santander and get a quote to pay off that loan. £62.90 is going to Sainsburys for that bulk shop and then I'll see how much is left, I want to put some in my savings account too. I think the loan balance is about £800-900 so that'll take most of it.
But then we had a meeting about the job move which put a downer on everything, we went through our job roles and identified which bits we could pass on to other teams etc, my boss has a meeting about it on Weds so fingers crossed he can tell us more then.
College tonight, I have a lovely pack up tea to eat before hand but today is already a spendy day as I ordered a book off ebay to help with my exams, the RRP is £35 but I got it for £12Santander 0% £1,529.94

That's great news about the bonus! It's exciting seeing you make big inroads into what you owe.
Nice, too, to have it pay for your food shopping!
Sorry about the jobs meeting. I hope your boss can find out something quite soon: it's not good having to wait (we are in a similar position with DH's job. Been there before though and survived.).
Enjoy college, the pack-up tea and the knowledge that you saved a whopping £19 on your Ebay shopping!Miggy
