:D Well I had to go to the shrine as my Tesco clothing arrived at 7pm tonight, OH tried on & rejected everything :( So took it back for my refund.
Amazing - we were there for a 10p sell off of food all in the front of the store (is this Whoopsies?)
We're having Peking Duck & noodles for tea tomorrow with carrots with leaves on, tomatoes, bananas, bread, fresh fruit. Cat has some posh cooked chicken & I have fresh fruit salad & Christmas sandwich for work lunch tomorrow :D £1.50 all in

    :(
I can sympathise with you Happy Chappy with your ear ache.
I also like others have horrible sharp painful earache caused by years of cotton budding my ears. They now have excema in them & when I get stressy they are agony. I have to put prescription ear drops in them.
I've noted down the good advice given about steaming & olive oil.
Also my Dr told me to put moisturiser in them which does help :)

Oh did scan Disney princesses 'football' - 61p

If all else fails - read the instructions...

Hello can you help a newbie please :o I am addicted to reading this thread and am a bit confused. we have a little blue scanner in one of our tescos but not the others is that what you use? or do you just try when you hear of something and return it if not? I was very excited the other night and went to look around our clothing section to find it empty (literally) as they are updating but I was so upset!

    welcome!!

THIS is the machine you should be looking out for.... ps - This is NOT me in the pic!! hahaha...:rotfl:

Sorry to seem such an idiot, but how do I know what to look for in the mens 4p socks and undies ? Trying to catch up with this thread, but really struggling. DO I just pick up a few pairs and scan them hopefully or is there something specific I should be looking for. Seen someone mention AW11 but not sure what this means.
  • does the thread get closed at 10.000 posts then Karlie??

also - regarding the ear thing..... i get terrible itchy ears... right inside..... is this excema??? - terrible spelling i know! xx

Im no expert on here, but I have picked up that AW11 means autumn winter 2011, so current stock, its the older stock that MAY be reduced, but its worth getting bar code numbers to make sure, unless your store has a scanner where you can check.

I got three pairs of tights yesterday, found SS11 (spring summer) and AW10, but they all scanned at full price (im an amateur!), so its only certain old stock thats been reduced.

I just said, "oh, I thought they were half price, can you take them off please" as soon as I realised, rather than pay and have to get a refund. (no scanner in my shop)
  • Thanks Sunshine should they have these in all t's not seen them in my normal one maybe only in extras? you are all really nice and friendly hope I can share will some bargains one day!
