Thanks Sunshine should they have these in all t's not seen them in my normal one maybe only in extras? you are all really nice and friendly hope I can share will some bargains one day!
Nah, they are not in every store.. thats the shi77y thing about them... best thing to do is look on the thread with the info on which stores have them... give me 5 mins and ill find the thread for you.
once you find the price checkers, it makes things soooo much easier... i really struggle with looking for bargains etc when there are no scanners.
Not sure if its just Extras that have them, but dont think it is,.... think some 'normal' ones have them too..
if there isnt one in the store that you visit, i reccommend asking for prices from the electricals desk, or Pharmacy or something less obvious than the main checkouts.. NOT customer services.. never ask for a price check there!!! lol
You will soon get the hang of everything.. good luck with your hunting... once you find that first glitch.. you will be hooked!!!Proud Mummy to a new little girl - Phoebe... born 11 days overdue on 3rd Jan 2012.0 -
Im no expert on here, but I have picked up that AW11 means autumn winter 2011, so current stock, its the older stock that MAY be reduced, but its worth getting bar code numbers to make sure, unless your store has a scanner where you can check.
I got three pairs of tights yesterday, found SS11 (spring summer) and AW10, but they all scanned at full price (im an amateur!), so its only certain old stock thats been reduced.
I just said, "oh, I thought they were half price, can you take them off please" as soon as I realised, rather than pay and have to get a refund. (no scanner in my shop)
Thanks for that helpful advice lindos90. That is really helpful. :j0 -
i THINK.... this is where you will find info on stores that have scanners and where abouts you can find them instore.

Evening all thanks for the messages re my hospital visit yesterday a bit fed up its taking longer than I expected to get over the shingles & they told me it has affected my eye after previously being told it hadn't, so a little fed up. Six weeks on I still get very tired I think major glitching will have to be postponed a little longer.
Happy Chappy I don't know that veg oil would do the trick, Grandad always used Olive Oil, I think warming the spoon was so the oil wasn't too cold going into the ear & it softened the wax and the cotton wool sort of collected it, so you would leave it in over night or for several hours.
The olive oil from the chemist comes in quite a small bottle 2.5 fl oz 71ml you don't need much. I'm sure if you asked any chemist would sell it. I can understand your fear of hospital especially after that experience, please don't poke anything in your ear, cotton buds and cotton wool dampened with warm water are just to clean the outer ear and "just" inside not too far. I remember my friend who is a nurse saying "Don't put anything smaller than your elbow in your ear" also.
I suggested going to the doctor Friday if its no better because you don't want to be in agony all weekend, most G.P.'s are very nice mine even wears a simpsons tie & socks even though he's in his 50's.
Sorry if I haven't done many thanks etc today & yesterday gang just sped read & feel a bit rough
