Which company was that? I am going to give them until Wednesday then a chargeback will occur.
I used another internet company a few months back, Seranata or something like that and they were amazing quality. Massive headed roses, and were alive for more than 2 weeks. They didn't address the flowers well tho, just a name. Not so great when they were just dropped off at a residential block with over 300 people living there0 -
0800 flowers it is but i shall wait and see what they say, seems im not the only one on this thread with problems0

I ordered some flowers for my mum more than 2 weeks ago from valueflora - the first time I have used them. The flowers were never delivered. They then said they dispatched late last week (not sure if they had ever dispatched any flowers before i emailed them) and they stll haven't turned up. When they stopped replying to my emails, I just sent them they same email every day requesting a refund. Got an email this morning saying they would refund me. So keep trying!0 -
I own a flower shop, and all I can really say to all of you who have had delivery problems and quality issues with the likes of Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Marks and Spencer and other internet based retailers is SERVES YOU RIGHT, but maybe you’ll support your local businesses next year.
These companes are muscling in on all the smaller traders in the ‘High Street’. They cherry pick the lucrative things to do, and do them cheaper and that’s what closes the independent trader. It has been shown by the number of complaints on here that in some instances purchasing on price isn’t best practice.
Fortunately because Florists do provide more of a service they have lasted the onslaught for longer. If you don’t use them and they all go to the wall who will be left to do what the supermarkets aren’t interested in, or require a local service like like your funeral flowers or your Wedding flowers?
When you buy these cheap bouquets, all your buying are cheap flowers. As Tesco have illustrated their ‘Finest’ roses retailed same price as everyone else’s.0 -
I stopped using my local florist when it was my Grans funeral. She sadly got buried around valentines day and the prices the florist wanted for a simply posy of flowers was dreadful as they said the prices were up as it was Valentines day. They refused to budge on prices evn though they knew it was for a funeral.
In the end we paid the prices begrudginly. The flowers were dreadful.
Sadly my dear old aunt died 6 weeks later and we did our own flowers bought from ALDI costing 1/3rd of the price the florist charged. They were fantastic and we were complimented on how great they were.
"SERVES YOU RIGHT" is a horrible statement to make. Not everyone has the extortionate money florists chargeTRYING hard to be a good money saver :rolleyes:0 -

You only have yourselves to blame. How can you justify putting up your prices 50% - 100% just because of an occassion?
I would love to support my local florists, try keeping your prices the same as all year round, or even marginally increasing them and i may come back to you. But if i can get a dozen red roses, champers and a teddy bear delivered for £30 why would i come to a local florist who wants to charge £45 just for the roses?0 -

I emailed them this afternoon asking to confirm when the replacements were disptached as they still had not arrived. No reply. If I don't hear anything by tomorrow afternoon I will request a refund. I have no faith in them sending a half decent replacement.0 -
We eventually got a refund today after I emailed them 10 times one after the other
And then had the cheek to offer 50% off the next order--yeh right!!TRYING hard to be a good money saver :rolleyes:0
