  • Just had an email back (quick response - 30mins):
    Dear Neil

We apologize that you were disappointed with the bouquet and will arrange a full refund.

    Kind regards

    0800 Flowers Team

I did send a photo though. I admit I did choose the worst example to photograph, but they were all sub-standard.

So....sorry for the duff recommendation folks. I won't be using them again. :(

Where did you get yours from?

    Wilkinsons - 6 for £4.....

Admittedly, when we got home from work last night a couple had lost their heads.

But they did the job on the day it mattered.

Im glad everyone is ok with 0800, I sent an email to them yesterday morning first thing, no reply. And the email address on their website promising 100% guarantee bounces.

What with that and Thorntons deliverying a day late, I didn't look that smooth

had lots of reduced valentines cuddlies and sweets in Asda Barnsley last night. Even though I had already treated my hubby to a night in a hotel on Wednesday night (I bought the hotel room, he bought the meal!), I couldn't resist the little lovely cuddly ladybird that said "Be Mine", reduced from £1.50 to 75p, just for saying thankyou for a wonderful Valentines Day (and treating me to a £25 bottle of champagne with our meal!)
You're so very special, I wish I was special

    How about something like this?

Personally, i'd be well pleased if my boyfriend got me this! :T

I thought this would be something different to satisfy my wife's needs for Valentine's day.
However, The Bakin' Boys let me down - there was no delivery. I sent them an email to ask why, but all I got was a refund of my money - I thought an apology would be forthcoming, but nothing has been said.
I'll stick to my local florist next year who never let's me down.
  • Well, I'm seriously !!!!ed off with iflorist.co.uk after ordering the deal that I saw on this forum...

The roses with champagne and teddy.... order confirmation said it would be delivered on Valentines day... by 3pm valentines day was getting anxious as no delivery yet so went to "live chat" on their website and was assured it was sent out (Even though the courier website said only that the "parcel DATA had been received)...

Well it's now 5PM on 16th February and STILL no delivery... even emailed them 2 days ago and no reply.

Can't get on chat because im always number 20 in the queue... WORST experience in over 10 years shopping online...

If only amazon delivered flowers... they wouldn't let you down.

  • Hey everyone

Sorry to hear of the troubles some people have been having with internet florists especially :(

I know this place isn't the cheapest, but considering the quality of the flowers and the excellent reliability / CS, I wouldn't consider anywhere else when making an impression counts:

I can't show you the bouquet I got, because they don't have their valentines selection up anymore, but suffice to say they were GORGEOUS!! :D

.......oh and you get quidco too!

HTH someone for next year....... :)

Will I use it? Is it worth it? Can I find it cheaper anywhere else?

Similar to what happened to me, I ordered a hamper of white roses, wine and chocolates for valentines day from interflora.co.uk and they never turned up. I rang them the next day and was to be told that it is not OUR fault it is the couriers fault and they have 48 days from the Chosen date to deliver it to.. Could not believe my ears when I heard all that was speechless  , yet on my order it clearly stated will be delivered on 14/02/2007, the guy on the phone said they would definitely arrive that day (15th when I rang) THEY DIDENT! I then had to ring them AGAIN today and ask what the hell is going on.. Sending me another lot out but I tell you this wont be ordering flowers of the internet again **** that off..... not a happy chappy, lucky I got my lovely girlfriend other things as well :(

0800 told me theyd send me another lot of flowers. I then had to correct them and request they be sent to the original recipiant. No idea when they will arrive, and they had better be exceptionally nice else i will be really peeved off. the ones received on Wednesday last week havent opened and have just died. The OH cannot believe they cost twice the price of the Thorntons hamper (came a day late). It looks more like 1/30 of the price.
