Seriously being cheap on Valentines may get you dumped! The next post you guys may be posting is "which is the cheapest online dating service" :rotfl:

If being cheap gets you dumped then you're with the wrong woman!
A good woman will appreciate even the thought.....

My wife was astounded that she got a card and a couple of stupid little pressies this morning - and she's not even aware of the dozen roses sitting at work, ready to take home tonight!

I spent £11 in total on 12 roses, a card, a teddy & an engraved crystal thing.
Who says Valentines can't be done successfully on a budget?!?

    I only got a card.....

Was it one of those 12 ft hallmark cards? :)
  • Hi,

Does anyone know of any reduced valentines packages / gifts??

I'm not amazingly tight, or very forgetful but my other half does have a good sense of humour and appreciates a laugh!! Basically my plan was to get her a hamper or ideally something edible (so that she doesnt have to drag it to her car) delivered to her office.

Should be funny!! Was planning for Friday or maybe even next week!!

Does anyone know of anywhere, i know all the shops are 50%+ off all their valentines stock...

    Many Thanks.:rotfl:

so was everyone pleased with what they got? The £45 bouquet from 0800flowers finally turned up and was atrocious. The £2.99 flowers from tesco are way way better. picture was totally different to what i got. seriously peeved off
  • Sorry to hear it Coolio, my courier dropped my package in a muddy puddle.. instruction manuals soaked. But it was eBay and the unit works so there's nothing I can do really.

Should have seen my wife's face when I got home with the flowers!!
The fact she had to open the door for me cos she'd left the key in the lock added to the experience.
