Send a card to his place of work....

Inside - slip a note telling him of the surprise awaiting him at home.

If you have children - get them off to bed if possible.

Make a lovely dinner - starter, main and pud - go for something light... you don't want to be feeling bloated! Dress up the table, candles, music etc and just enjoy some quality time together.

If he's the sort of man who apreciates it - give him a massage. Have a bath run for him for when he gets home - with a cold beer or his drink of choice.

Don't worry about the 'thing' you need to get him - whats more important is that he knows you care about him.

No surpises as to what my hubby is 'getting'

Ooo - great opportunity to dress up too.. either in costume :D or just a nice 'posh frock'.....

    A Valentines special, instore only.

Get a 410g gift wrapped box of Thorntons Premium Collection chocolates (£10.99 usually) and full size bottle of Charles de Villers Champagne (usually £23.99) together for £15.00.

I bought this for my sister for her birthday - as even though the chocs are wrapped in red paper u can pass this off as a normal present!!!

    Enjoy!!!

  • Hey,

Does anyone know where I can get a really nice box / amount of chocaltes for my other half for valentines day??

Obviously need delivery etc for Wednesday... I have a weekend away planned so not looking at going over the top but me thinks she'd enjoy a nice big box of chocolates more than flowers...

Or is there anything more origional / fun, she is a fun loving girl..

    Cheers.

Snap, very impressive although all 3 lollies were broken, and the inside box has been a bit battered as if dropped on its corner.

I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing! ;)
