Valentine's Day: please post all offers for flowers/chocs/ gifts here

I've just ordered "Velvet and Lace" from http://www.0800flowers.com for my wife for delivery on Valentine's Day.
30 Red and White Roses, Sala presented in Gold Wrap together with a glass vase. Delivered in a branded gift box.

The standard price is £34.99 with a £1.99 delivery charge.

Pay with your Egg card though, and get 50% instant cashback, so all in for £18.49. Seemed good value to me.

maybe not so romantic buying stuff in the Jan Sales, but I personally think it's good so you can get her that little bit more :p

  • I used the https://www.balloonsbypost.co.uk after it was recommend last year. It was fantastic! A big box arrived at DH's work with a few balloons and lots of little extra's put in by the people at bbp. I used it again for my aunts birthday I was so impressed with the service!

Asda have got some nice cheapish things i got a few bits yesterday.

thorntons choccies which say 'i love you' £2.48
a mug says 'sexy' on it (i thought i would embarrass him in the office lol) £1.00
    heart shaped small choccies 84p
They had teddy bears and stuff too.

Also on buyagift.com the 25% code still works! they have some nice things on there, i might go for the helium filled balloon.

another site i found is valentinesgift.co.uk some stuff was the same as on buyagift but cheaper however it works out nearly the same with the 25% off code.

    hth :)

on a less romantic note, everybody could use devil cards via quidco to make 20p for each free valentine e-card they send

  • How about http://www.sunnysideflowers.co.uk

It's actually a farm which grows and mails it's own scented narcissus flowers.
You can add a card with you own personal message and they are sent by 1st class post. You can also order in advance and select the date you want them mailed. Prices start from £7-99 inc delivery and if you are on the mailing list you occasionally get discount codes as well!
So if you are looking for fresh flowers this is the place to go :j
