Send a card to his place of work....
Inside - slip a note telling him of the surprise awaiting him at home.
If you have children - get them off to bed if possible.
Make a lovely dinner - starter, main and pud - go for something light... you don't want to be feeling bloated! Dress up the table, candles, music etc and just enjoy some quality time together.
If he's the sort of man who apreciates it - give him a massage. Have a bath run for him for when he gets home - with a cold beer or his drink of choice.
Don't worry about the 'thing' you need to get him - whats more important is that he knows you care about him.
No surpises as to what my hubby is 'getting'
Ooo - great opportunity to dress up too.. either in costumeor just a nice 'posh frock'.....

:A Thnx Victory, I now know how to do it. I previously tried to copy and paste the picture. Not very computer savvy.:TKind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless. ~ Mother Teresa0 -

I bought the Loving Surprises this morning from Tchibo. As it was my first order I got free postage and packing too (code sent in welcome email) and went through Quidco for cashback. Total spent £4.50. Mind you, Tchibo say it should arrive within the next two weeks so fingers crossed it's sooner than that.
I also got the free personalised A5 card from Photobox.
Just one more pressie - something sweet and chocolately (and under £5) - and my hubbies V Day surprises are completed under budget."carpe that diem"0
