I hate this kind of thing. I paid £2.44 for 4 cans last week. Hmmm let me do the maths......
Did I just read that right?
£4.89 for 4 cans of tomatoes????
Daylight robbery!!!!It doesn't hurt to be optimistic....you can always cry later.

I usually do my shop online at Mr A but I went to mysupermarket yesterday and put it all in there, assuming that Mr T would be cheaper. No. The equivalent (and I don't buy very many branded goods at all) was a huge £18 odd more at Mr T. Even with the £10 off voucher I was emailed mere minutes after checking out at Mr A that still wasn't enough obviously to tempt me to Mr T!0

I emailed to register my disgust at the blatant dishonesty of the new 'promotion', in particular the stopping of many multibuy offers and the cutting of clubcard points.
I was called back and told that Tesco have changed the promotion policy based on what the majority of customers have told them they want, which apparantly is less of the big price cut and multibuy activity because it is causing so much waste.
Now can someone please tell me, why on earth would you tell them you dont want big price cut offers?
Ok, so instead of BOGOF how about selling the item for half price? Thats the obvious answer, but to Tesco the answer is take a few pence off.
From what i have read on forums, particularly MSE and people i have spoken to, nobody has said anything positive about the changes.
I think Tesco have employed political spin doctors to feed the media. The subject of food waste has been a minor political issue over the last few months, nothing at all to do with any customer consultation.0 -

I think they should display the last price on all items. Then people aren't taken advantage of.0

We're all stuck on an island, but I get your point!
I think it's mostly a big con, I will stick to Sainsburys.0 -
'Tesco's big price drop' should be renamed 'Tesco's big rip off'. i went in there the other day and noticed b ugger all reduction in anything. I am sticking to Asda and Aldi.life is what you make it, make it fun !0
