tesco's big price drop!

I think that prices have gone up for me as well.
Things I have noticed are that Tesco own brand orange juice used to be buy three at just over the price of two and now it is £3 for 4 (save 26p on the price of four) and milk was 3 for the price of two at £1.49 (so just £1 each), but now cost £1.25 each.
I used to like the multi-buys for stocking up on multi-buys of quality brand goods at a good price. Some of the time I am not very interested in having some of the Tesco own brand (it varies when sometimes the own brands are okay but other times labelled product is much better quality)
or the lines that they pretend are not their own brand but are (Discount brands at Tesco). Have they cut the multi-buys all together, particularly on things like cleaning products?0 -

I emailed my views on the 'Big' price drop, told them I thought it was pants. A nice lady called back and noted my views on their complaints file as they've set one up for complaints on the price drop. Seems like we're not the only ones miffed with it.0

It is the heavily advertised 'Real Food meal deal' which is currently supposed to be all the ingredients to make this http://www.tescorealfood.com/recipes/roast-pork-steaks-with-caramelised-apples.html for £5, however it appears the pork is out of stock on the website so there is no point buying the rest of it as the offer price won't apply if you don't buy all the ingredients.
The link showing all the ingredients including the OOS overpriced pork chops included in the deal which brings the value of the items up to around £11 is

i was not that impressed by it not one single item I usually buy is reduced in this promotion - perhaps it will vary month to monthI am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.0

Friut and veg are only reduced for 1 month, understandable as they are seasonal (in theory) - but what will happen after that?
A sainsbury spokesman said Tesco are all "Smoke and mirrors" and give with one hand whilst taking away with the other. I couldn't have put it any better myself!
It is also estimated that when they change from double points back to 1 point per pound it will save them around £360 million per year!
The price drop is a marketing ploy with no real substance - they love trying to pull the wool over our eyes and are very, very good at it.0 -

Just purchased a snack 100g cornish pasty from Tesco Extra.
Last week 50p
This week price dropped to, er, 51p ....
Ticket on the shelf says down from 56p. Don't know when it was 56p, but it wasn't any time recently!
How on earth do they get away with it.0
