Another one . . .
Tesco value sliced cheese (real cheese as opposed to processed cheese slices)
Had been, for a long time 59p per packet then went up to £1.20
Now showing as a reduced price at £1.15
Thats just scandelous, for every deal we get they have 10 where they are stitching us up.
Wish Asda would really have a go at them and show them up as the small fry they really are.

Oh Cobblers. Yes, a price cut. Just on something I don't buy often & have already got.
They know the majority will have eaten the chocs well before Christmas, so will have to buy more when the price goes back up again. There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0 -

I also put in a complaint... the poor lad who called me up, didn't understand what the fuss was about! he didn't know anything about the big promotional price drop!!!!!!!
And he didn't understand why I complained that they seriously inflated ALL prices the month before in order to drop them this week...!
I am being reffered to head office!
Then I went out and bought 3 x 4pints of milk @ £3 from Sainsburys, and as I needed a few other bits and bobs... Mr S got £10 of my money... tesco got... £0!!!!
Overall my 'big bulk buy' shop went down £1.15 on the new offers... and went UP £5 on the multibuy offers which have gone (milk, cheese and meat), so I am getting a lot of it from Mr S on Thursday when I go shopping! We spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. It was advertised to stop later in the year (Nov) but on Monday the offer came off and the price dropped to £1.25 so either way it seems you were overcharged.
Mr is doing this offer until 15/11/11We spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. I don't and I'm happy! Mortgage Free Wannabe :dance:Overpayments Made: £5400 - Interest Saved: £11,550 - Months Saved: 240 -
Things have got a lot worse with regards to special offers in shops since the rules were relaxed. Things only have to be sold for a reasonable amount of time at a certain price now, not for the set period it used to be. Mr T certainly looks to be taking advantage. There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. Absolutely and the only way to teach them is not to shop there if it can be helped.
I now only go to Tesco if its a very good offerSlimming World at target0 -
A 2L bottle of Pepsi Max is on special offer at £1, but if you're feeling generous (towards Tesco) you can buy a 4-pack of these for £5.49. My favourite "big price drop" item so far is the healthy eating chicken breast fillets reduced from £3.00 to £2.99. "Every little helps" but that's ridiculous. They really should be reported to the ASA...0
