Plans for today are to finish what I started yesterday, organise the kitchen! Oh the heady delights of my life:rotfl: :rotfl: Actually, I think it will work better once I've finished, but boy is it a pig in the doing. You can only empty so much before you run out of worktop and I need to empty 2 or 3 cupboards at a time. Plus nobody could find anything last night! CMx
Think I need to do this, but not sure how to work out the best arrangement.
Scared I'll just make it worse :eek:0 -
Hello everyone.
Smokybabe, welcome!
Kyle, I hope Ds feels better soon and agree with anniestar….you should go back to bed.
Aussie, I hope the move goes smoothly for you.
It's a lovely sunny morning here………unfortunately that means I can see what needs cleaning. I think the windows will have to be first on today's list. I haven't been sleeping well lately, so I'm finding it hard to motivate myself to do much at all. Maybe if I just go and make a start on it, I'll manage to work up some enthusiasm.
Hugs to all who aren't feeling well today,

Good Morning!
Thank you for my warm welcome yesterday - I think I'm going to feel at home here.
Have been to have my blood taken in readiness for chemo tomorrow. Usually have no problems, but took three attempts today, resulting in a sore arm. I always have trouble at the hospital with them finding a suitable vein, so I guess it's not looking good.
Off out tonight for a meeting at DS1's next school about his options. Really not happy about the fact that he has to choose a subject from the arts category. He has no aptitude for any of the subjects listed within it, and is thinking of going with drama as the lesser of the evils.
Had a letter from the insurance company saying that they've received my claim and are now just waiting on the GP's to arrive.
So sorry to read about all you mums up in the night with poorly kids - hope they (and you!) all make speedy recoveries.0 -

Good morning
Hope everyone who is not feeling well or your little ones are not well feel get
better soon
Have cleaned up the kitchen and hoovered the living room. Also put beef in the slow cooker for tea. I am looking around at the rest of the mess and really can't get motivated. My youngest daughter starts nursery next week and hopefully then I will get back into a routine.
I work as a domestic at the weekend and it is amazing how it doesn't bother me cleaning up after other people, but when its my own families mess I cant be bothered.
Anyway, if I pull myself away from this computer then maybe I will get something done.
Hope you all have a good day.0 -

Hi all
Sorry, haven't had time to read through thread, hope everyone is ok. Had my bag stolen last night (credit cards etc.) and wanted to start a thread asking people's experiences and what I should do. Contacted police, stopped cards etc. but thought there might be other things I haven't thought of. However, not sure where to start a thread - any ideas? Maybe we need an 'emergencies' forum!!
