Morning all, briefly popping on before a day full of clients gets in my way!!!
DD is still off school - a temperature of 104!!, some bits to wrap up and send that I have sold on ebay and Amazon and a desperate need to do some ironing before the pile spills out onto the street and down the road!!
Also, our debit card was cloned last week so need to go through the last few days online with a fine tooth comb to make sure nothing else is amiss. Also, a check on our credit reference will be done today to make sure that there is nothing awry there as a result. A hassle I can do without really.
Anyway, better get on - I hope everyone has a good day and feels better soon xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
arghh just adventure is still offline - i do hope they sort it or i'm going to be bored for a while. married to the man of my dreams! 9-08-090

Kyle I hope Lo is better soon.
Had a bad night last night again:rolleyes: ...have taken some strong pain killers and they should hopefully kick in soon.
WM has been on and clothes are now drying on the airer. DW will need to go on later and toilet has been cleaned. OH is getting on with some tiling in the kitchen today. I have a few things that need to be done, calls to make, letter to go and 2 parcels that need wrapping and sent for Ebay. Also have JL collecting 2 sale orders I made and they sent the wrong goods
I am going to spend an hour or so on my essay as my tutor has given me a weeks extension, so thats a weight off my mind.
OH has just taken DD to school, so will be quiet here for about half hour, then I must take a quick shower and change into some fresh jim jams:D
Breakie: Nothing
Lunch: Chicken salad baguette
Dinner: HM Fishpie, peas and carrots
Hugs to all.

Morning everyone :hello:
What a difference a good night's sleep makes! I feel sooo much better today, which is good as I am not working today so hopefully will get lots of little jobs done around the house.
Have to pop into DD's school to do some PTA stuff then I need to get some basic shopping from the supermarket - which one I wonder? This weekend I visited Morrisons, Sainsburys and Tesco. Got bargains in all of them but only Morrisons is on my doorstep. Then again, Lidl is also at the bottom of my street so I may just pop in there to see what they have on offer.
kyle you are having a rough time at the moment. Hope DDS1 feels better soon. Just remember to look after yourself though. ((hugs)).
Off to make some grapefruit and pomelo for breakfast followed by some porridge.
Have a great day everyone. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Morning Everyone
At work yet again. Really bored. Got the I can't be bothereds with me today.
If anyone's heading to the library I recommend Eragon. It's a great book. I have to wrestle with myself to put it down. I'm determined to read the book before I see the film!
Raining here for a change. I was hoping to go into town this afternoon, but if the weather keeps up I'm not going!
Hope everyone's okComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
Morning all
Chardonnay can you recommend some good games ? I'm bored to death with the Sims.
Must pop into Worcester today for a few errands. Then I'm baking muffins and flapjacks for the school tuck shop.
Going to make cauliflower soup for lunch and something with leftover chicken for tea. I'm already deviating from my menu plan  never stick to them, but can't stop making them -it's probably some sort of disorder.0 -
thriftlady have you tried desperate housewives? if you like the sims you'll love this - it's really addictive. ER the game is also good, simulation based but gives you missions to complete. if you like mystery games /puzzle solving games there are loads like all the csi & law and order ones. the nancy drew series is good and even better are both the agatha christie ones. syberia 1 + 2 are fab. pm me with what you've played and i'll give you some more ideas. the adventuregamers forum http://forums.adventuregamers.com/ is good to read reviews on games but you can't buy from there boo! married to the man of my dreams! 9-08-090

Morning all
Kyle I hope your little one feels better soon. Being sick is always frightening, especially when you're a kid.
Need to go to asda today - other than that no major requirements of me.
I'm gonna check out steamers/rice cookers. I never used to understand why people had a problem cooking rice, mine always turned out fine. But now, I've got the jinx. It just will not come out right. Can't work out what I'm doing wrong.
Windows wide open. I felt the house needed a good airing. then it's housework so the place is ok for the rest of the week while I'm at work. And lots of playing with DD.
Baked tuna risotto for dinner tonight. Was supposed to be last night but I decided we could all go and get 2 for 1 fajitas (celebrating the fact that I'm no longer classed as "overweight":o ) Meal plan? what meal plan?

Good Morning All - Hope we are well
Hope Ds1 is feeling better soon Kyle.
I too was in bed early for a change, I still feel quite tired tho, but pmt wears me down anyway.
DD enjoyed the party last night, it was a princess & pirates fancy dress. All the children made a very good effort, there was clown for the entertainment part. I joined in with the games and with the clown act, (think I was the biggest kid there), but it was good!
School run shortly, and then work, then I got to go and see the Nurse at 2.15 ref my ears.
Cubs/scouts night tonight, always busy with coming and going!
OH finally got a car, he collects it on Saturday. With the funds he got from the sale of his old one and with him borrowing from the £2 saving's jar. Its been easily affordable. Ive told him to put the money back in the jar as thats our "Wedding Florida fund for Oct 2008"
Anyway, best go and get showered.
Have a great day all
Take care & love as usual
xxx Emma
P.S. I too watched BB last night, I agree Shilpa didnt cook the chicken for long under the advise of the others, but I do agree with H that Danielle is going to far with b*itching about Shilpa!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Morning All:j
Well, got a list of things to do today : Vacuum, dust, clean out fire grate from last night, put BM on, empty WM & get another load on & want to walk upto the swimming pool & get their new year time table too. Should keep me busy! Oh and the small matter of entertaining Spud!:D
Had a bit of a mare yesterday evening, there I am knitting a baby blanket following a pattern in the book I got for Christmas, suddenly realise it's going wrong! Why??Because the bloody patteren's math is incorrect!:eek: It says to cast on 126 stitches but then only gives directions for 116 stitches so I am overknitting the patteren on one side & it is now totally lop sided! Boy was I pi??ed off!:p I don't mind so much when I co@k it up, I am still a newbie knitter but I never thought the pattern could be wrong!
Arrgggghhhhh.....20 rows of moss stitch & 5 rows of knit & pearl halves all to be undone....and it was otherwise perfect! I hadn't dropped a single stitch!
But I am feeling a bit pleased with myself, got Spud a high chair booster seat off of freecycle yesterday instead of spending £20 on one in mothercare, can't be bad:D
Have a good day everyone:TPost Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p
In England we have Mothering Sunday & Father Christmas, Mothers day & Santa Clause are American merchandising tricks:mad: Demonstrate pride in your heirtage by getting it right please people!0
