Hello all
Hope all is well and peeps days have been ok. (((hugs))) to all those who need them.
Have had a bit of a frustrating day at w**k and really don't feel like i've done anything!! My boss has taken to not speaking to me which isn't helping matters as I'm not getting support on some of the work I'm doing  gerrr!! Hey ho... only 8 working days to go til i'm out of there:j
Back to more possitive things, I found and old paying in book when I was packing some stuff last night and when I called into the Abbey they told me that there £7.40 left in the account, so I took the cash and closed the account. Picked up a few bargins in the Boots 75% off sale that came to £7.11 so I'm still in pocket and have saved myself a fair few pennies on presents for the 12 friends birthdays I have coming up between February and April :T
Really need a good blast at the cleaning tonight... flat is turning into a bit of a tip!! I have the surveyor coming round for the guy whose buying my flat and I have visions of coming home and finding him trapped under the mountain of ironing
Can't quite believe how quickly things are moving with the sale of my flat. I had the draft contract through for the solicitors today and if all goes smoothly I the sale may go through before I move then I wont have to pay both rent and mortgage next month
Right best crack on :hello:
take care
tink x:j

Evening all!
Well although I've barely moved today (silly legs) I've made a bit of progress! Have got 2 days supply on Thur and Fri, so at least that's something! Murphys law that the call centre job will want me for an informal interview when I'm at the school though! Will have to work round that I think.
Am waiting for OH to get up, he had a heavy day at work today and had a nap this afternoon.... he has a sleep in the arvo so that he can spend the evening with me and not be as tired
Have the JC at 10am... was debating not going but might as well go!
Am watching a prog at 8.30 on BBC 2 about kids parties, thought it'd be relevant seeing as though I'm in the business myself... part time anyway!
Then it's time for a nice Lush bath.... so glad I finally have my stuff!

Moggins that is really awfull ref your friend, no-one has the right to speak anyone like that regardless of race.
Im a dog walker, and regardless who passes by us, I always wind the lead up and hold "lady" so close to me, and I always make sure Im near the people passing (if you see what I mean) She is a 7yr old Boxer dog who wouldnt hurt a fly, but we can still never be too carefull tho.
That person was totally cruel, and has no respect for passers by! She should have been the one to have moved!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0 -

Well your luck is in today plus finding a luck penny or two. Our tradition here in Scotland is to keep it in your pocket for luck! I always do for several weeks.

Don't worry too much about the garden. Once Spring comes it won't take too long to repair itself. I remember once years ago I decided to scarify my back lawn with an electric thingy I borrowed. 20 bin bags of moss later I had no grass left! Oops. However, in the Spring it sprouted beautifully and I can honestly say I have never had the same problem again. Mind you I do get GreenThumb 4 times a year to apply weed/feed stuff. £16 a treatment but by the time you buy the stuff yourself and spread (always uneven), I feel I would rather pay. It certainly cuts down the dandelions etc.
I used that weed and feed on my lawn last year, problem was, the lawn was all weed and no grass, i ended up with a load of mud!!!! Have managed to re seed it, so hoping that it will be better this year!!!! (im not much of a gardener tho)0 -
Hi everyone
Didn't sleep well, so up late, woken by Jehovah's Witnesses:(
I was up at 6am to do a load of washing and cleaned the oven whilst mopping the leak in the seal of the WM door. OH put some strong tape on it which limited it but still leaking. It is a 25 year old Hoover WM that came with the house. Washes well but has a hole in the rubber on the door.
After that I went back to bed, to be woken by the JW which went down a like a lead balloon, I had only had two hours sleep:(.
I felt very angry today at Celebrity Big Brother. The bullying has gone on too long and is really tainting their image and Channel 4 don't seem to be doing anything about it. I am boycotting Big Brother till I see some appropriate action taken. It is one of my favourite programmes but I feel very strong feelings about bullying, as I experienced the same treatment throughout my young life at one time or another, mostly at school or in female only offices.
I am not fan of Shilpa but the way the bullies have treated her is beyond disgraceful, and I am sickened by the way nothing has been done about it.
I rang the agent today to arrange photos to be taken and got some advice about presentation.
I also rang Alliance and Leicester about how slow they are being over a dispute that has landed me with bank charges at another bank. They are soooo flipping slow for the sake of it:(
I have cleaned one of the shower rooms, magic erased a wall, polished the wood in three rooms and swept some leaves, it is the first time it has been decent enough to go outside, it was cold but at least it was still and dry!
I am taking a break and tackling some more skirting boards and mirrors later. An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:
:eek::mad: :beer:
I am no expert in property but have lived in many types of homes, in many locations and can only talk from experience.0
