Beat my target in my first month! Up to £310.51, not including £230 of eBay sales which completed last night. This thread has been extremely motivating.

88p saved in the supermarket today - bought 2 loaves of bread from the reduced shelf, a porkpie and some cravendale milk that had been reduced by 20p:D
Nat I wouldn't worry too much about your mum or sister. I don't get on with my parents (mum in particular) but this weekend they surprised me by part paying off a credit card and stocking my storecupboards with food and giving me money for petrol and a much needed hair cut. I might start comping - I have been told that it is great for marketing my business, I can make up taglines and then as those lines belong to me I can use them in my business. Must admit that I had never thought of doing that before.0 -
The first of the homemade scrumpy is ready! mmmmm...
I've decided to count the savings on homemade scrumpy vs storebought for the challenge.
Since the scrumpy only costs about 20p per 2L, and storebought cider is around £1 per 500ml, I'm counting £3.80 savings every time we open a 2 litre jug.
Weekend update:
£2.50 homemade wine savings
£3.80 homemade scrumpy savings
£4.00 Sainsburys coupon
...taking my total to £121.28 :jR.I.P. Bart. The best cat there ever was. :sad:0 -

Hello all.
Well I'm back from my trip to London and I think I did very well on the spending/saving money front. The show tickets, hotel and first nights meal were all presents and then second evening meal out we had a 2 for 1 voucher, lunch times we got meal deals from tesco and sat outside since the weather was so lovelyand we even borrowed a friends oyster card to make the tube journeys cheaper - every little helps after all!
Nothing to add towards my total from all that but did find 5p road kill in Euston station.
Then we just went to sainsburys for our weekly food shop and used a £6 MOC so going to add that too.
I've enjoyed catching up on everyones news, you are all doing so well. Can't believe your family are being so horrible Nat - can't wait to hear about your first big win so you can stick it in the face!
Keep going everyone!! xx0 -
Wow haven't got a clue how to work out fees for the bay, but had £68.98 in paypal and postage was £14.12 so Im just going to add the £54.86 anyway lol!
Didn't realise there were so many compers, I started a couple of weeks ago but haven't entered 1000s. I got my first win the other day, a DVD new release, so shouldn't be long until your first win nat.
