£20 from JPJ, the worst part... deciding which bill/creditor/nursery/council tax to pay.
  • I've sat reading this thread over the past couple of dares and I'm desperate to start one next month, a bit nervous at aiming for £10-15 though even though I can grabble it in overtime trying to keep that separate and make other money for this. I have a "hidden cupboard worth of old kids VHS I'm considering putting on ebay for a few pennies but not sure if anyone would really want a vhs lol (I dont even have one anymore yet have in excess of 200 of them) and then theres the guilt cos the kids have an "attachment" to them (irritating). I could start shedding old dvd's but they occasionally get watched & I just cut back on sky so they could get rotation more often.

Have I started something with this comping malark?!

£4.55 at costa today, used up the points on my card. Its been a really weird day, I've had my head in the sand walking around looking at the ground the last few week and this morning I got up and made an effort. On went the slap, the hair had a brush(was starting to resemble dreadlocks!!) and I forced a dress on. I didnt go anywhere exciting, just Tesco, but I felt good. I walked around noticing people and it seemed like a few men noticed me. One bloke in the bakery isle walked into a guy pushing a trolley after doing a double take at me. My boy was in stitches because the corner of the trolley went into the guys man parts! Feeling renewed...might even do 30mins on the exercise bike-steady!

Before I forget, its that time of the week again...

This week I knight you, Comperella, for services to comping :D

If you are not sure about £10 per day you can always start with £5 -quite a few people had to up their target this month cos they found they met the £5 target very early.

As for the kids videos - it would surprise you - i got given about 50 videos and thought these are never going to sell - 2 weeks of car boots sales and they were mostly gone tho :) If the kids are attached to the films you could always get their favourites online and save to the computer.....

Hi guys - well Mr As failed to deliver on the right day so they gave me a £21 compensation payment - I also got another £5 from their spend £40 price guarantee thing.

MIL also gave me a 20% off M&S voucher which together with some multi-buy deals got me about £50 knocked off!

    Hi

    Since I last posted I've got £10 of 20p's, 8p roadkill and £7.99 from eb*y.
So new total is £86.39 for Oct but I'm not sure where the next lot is going to come from. I've got £9.20 towards a McC*ins voucher so hopefully I'll get up to £10 eventually but I keep forgetting which day to play the games on!

    Well done everybody for Oct!

ETA - McCa*ns - It's Tuesday! Now up to 960 so if I can do all the games and the comp I will qualify for a £10 voucher next week. Has anybody smashed the pinata?
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.
