£10 payment from a MS job hit the bank today.

Have spent a couple of hours doing surveys this morning, but the rest of the day will be a big sorting out day to try and get my home organised as I've not kept on top of it lately, and it's starting to stress me out that there is just stuff everywhere!! So not a big money making day, but a productive one nonetheless :)
Haven't done any new Ebay listings for a while either, so will try and get 5 things photographed during the day, and get the descriptions done this evening. Don't think I'm going to make my target of selling 50 things for the month, think I'm about half way there at the moment, but I'm running out of month!!

Ooh, it's all happening today! £40.00 hit my account today from a Mystery Shopping company and ebay profits of £50.76 arrived today too so that makes a new monthly total of £314.92 for the month :j:j
  • Just ordered another £10 voucher from McCains, just a shame it won't get here in time to add to this challenge! Can hopefully add it to November's though!

Lol - it all adds up!! :D
They are giving away 40 million points apparently, so it's nice to know that at least 20 of those are going towards this challenge for someone!!!

  • Thank you all for your previous welcome. Im gearing myself up really for a November/pre christmas challenge - although I did find a £10 note when wombling a week or so ago. Found crumpled up next to an asda receipt which also gave me an apg of £2 odd.

DD3 has quite a few double up moshi monster cards and collectable figures - previously have let little friends have them but this time, charity begins at home Im afraid and they are going on ebay! Has been a long time since Ive ebayed, I must get up to speed with it.

I have also been topping up a gift card in Asda with a couple of pounds each time I use a wombled apg. Have got £16 already towards christmas extras.

Have been reinspired to comp again. Up until a few years ago I was an avid comper and have been quite lucky. I did comp a bit last christmas time but my heart wasn't in it - my one and only win for that period was a travel trivial pursuit which didn't even sell at a boot sale! lol!

My best win to date though was 5k - 7 years ago. Id ticked the "entry box" on a simply b order form and won 3rd prize. I was invited to go to Manchester for publicity but had a "get out of jail card" from midwife as I was due for dd3 around the same time. It came in wonderfully handy with a new baby. Hoping that inspires you that there are decent prizes out there - and like everyone has said - you've got to be in it to win it.

Did another MS job today, but won't count it till i recieve it. Spent the morning sorting out sons wardrobe, can't believe how much stuff he has that doesn't fit. But at least i will be able to sell it in preparation for next month. My girls are away for the week visiting their "bio-mother" so saved plenty of money this week on food shopping, school dinners, school bus fares, ect. I have £35 in my kitchen cupboard which i had over budgeted for school dinners/bus fare as i forgot the kids were off this week when i did the budget so i'm add that to my total because i'm going to the shop before work and gonna pay it off a bill at paypoint.

Still no cigs for me..... :D

EDIT: Woo Hoo!! £1.95 over target for this month. I honestly didn't think i would get anywhere near target! :D

Ooooh, and surprise £25 to add today as well :D

I did a Home Insurance survey/Mystery phone call type thingy last week, and I was expecting a cheque in the next few weeks, which is what happened a few months ago when I did a Car Insurance one, but have just had an email to say that it has just been paid via Paypal!
I hadn't realised they'd changed their payment method, or had probably forgotten really, I'm sure they would have said when they changed it, so am pleased to have that paid already, and saves me having to remember to pay in a cheque!! :j
Will transfer it out of Paypal into the bank, and it can go in our 'spare' bank account which will go towards Christmas, or more likely Car Insurance due next month :(
