I have been a bit lazy about updating and it has just caused me a nightmare trying to work it all out! Never again!! I think I have:
£27.03 from ebay
£3 from my survey
£13.50 from amazon
£119.26 from interest on my savings.
So I have beaten my target! result!! Although the interest is a fluke and that wont happen again.
Plus my pay slip turned up today and I got overtaxed last month so they haven't taxed me this month which means I have an extra £450 in pay cheque this month. Perfect timing because I'm off on my holidays in the morning!! Although I think I will put half off my credit card.
Have a good productive last week of the month! Hope you all reach your targets! I'm going to have to get more creative next month because the ebay box is full of rubbish that no one appears to want. Might have to start the competitions as well!!Make £5 a day in May £51.05/£1550 -

I wonder sometimes why I speak to my family; my sister told my mum about my new hobby and I've had her on the phone telling my it's pathetic and I need to get a life. It really hurts to hear that, this is something I enjoy, it stops me comfort eating as its giving me something to do and most of all, they forget im going through a break-up so it focus' my mind elsewhere. Just because I dont go crying on their shoulder(can you blame me?!) to them that means im over it. Im dealing with it my way and comping helps greatly.
Sorry for the rant, its nice to know others dont think im pathetic.
Anyway, not a single survey my way today so comping is filling in nicely!2025 Mortgage start £378K 2025 Overpayment £103 Savings Challenge 2025 **MONEY MAKES ME HAPPY**0 -
Bless you Nat, just what you need right now hey
Just wait till you win something fab, then you can tell them who's being pathetic. And to be honest, even those you're not winning, by the sounds of it it is already helping you loads, so that's enough of a prize in itself.
But I've seen loads of peoples sigs on MSE with things they've won in comps and there's heaps of different things. Like you said, they might be great presents, little treats for yourself, or extra earners on Ebay!!Win win all round by the sounds of it.
I've just transferred out £15.36 from 3 various survey panels (mine and OHs Crowdology, and one of the other panels that use the same website, think it was DBS patient panel, but can't even remember now. It was all of 5 mins ago!!Had to say I'd forgotten passwords as I'd forgotten usernames, and when you put your email address in it tells you which panels are associated with it. Turns out me and OH have 4 each, so have made added them to my survey sites login details document on my desktop!)
So pleased to have a little extra to add today.
Have a couple of small Ebay sales tonight to add once they are paid for and posted. Not much, but one was a children's coat that I bought for 50p in a charity shop last week, and sold it for £3.50. Not much, but the entrepreneur in me does get the thrill out of little profits like that!Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
Aww Nat, Sorry to hear about your Mum & Sister reacting in such a negative way to you taking up comping.
I dont understand how they could be so nasty about it
Hope you win something extra special to shut em up!! :TEveryday im shufflin' Proud Padder ~ All Hail The Power of Pad0 -

nat, DH is like this, because I don't win the car, the money, etc comping is a waste of time.
Doesn't matter that I win decent things like iTunes cards, a Skid Pan Day, think this is my best win to date, A Drifters signed CD that is worth a little bit of money at the mo, still holding onto it though, will keep for DS' inheritance in case I have nothing else.
People who don't understand comping think it is all about money.
And the problem is you get people going on telly saying I am a comper and I have won 15 holidays, lots of money, 5 cars, etc. But they don't tell you how many hours a day they spend comping, the cost of stamps, postcards, envelope, etc.
Chin up hun. You will be the one with the big grin on your face when you are winning.0 -

Aw Nat thats awful! I turned to comping when DH was in hospital for 2 months after a motorbike accident. I did it religiously every night after my 2 little ones went to bed and I totally get what you mean about it stopping you comfort eating/getting lonely/sad etc. I've been lucky enough to win several things over the last 4 months such as £1k, a gold necklace, Legoland break (which we are going on this week now DH is well enough:j) as well as things to put away for presents etc but the overall reward of comping has been more than just the prizes. Plus it lead me to this forum which is invaluable
On that note, need to add 16p roadkill, £7 ebay and £3 p1nec0ne.
Now at £329.34/£310:DDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
