Wow! That sounds very exciting. Hope in the future you post some pics0 -
I will
I'm looking forward to it - I had a bit of a slump recently tbh, and felt I needed a shake up to enjoy it again. I'm hoping to buy the first plants (lilies and hostas) this weekend and pot them up - Van Meuwen have free postage on this weekend plus I can go via £co for cashback. After that the plants will be bought from an online aquatic plant retailer. (EDITED TO ADD: the retailer I use gives me 20% off for being a loyal customer so MSE all round :rotfl:)
First coat of paint has been done, about to start the second. Got a live chat planned tonight with some other students to discuss the next assignment. We're going out for lunch tomorrow with some friends, which will be nice. Today has absolutely flown past, cant believe its 7pm already! I hope the rest of the weekend slows up a bit! :rotfl:Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

It's been a while and I don't know where to start.
I've an assignment due, so really need to be working on it (oops!), so I shall make this quick.
We started painting Lumpy's bedroom and that has turned into a huge nightmare and now we are in the process of stripping all the old paint off back to plaster so we can start again, so upstairs in our house is chaos at the moment. As if that wasn't bad enough, the bathroom is being delivered today :T  I see a fun weekend ahead! (my brothers are at respite this weekend, so my parents are coming over to help us try to find our house again!)
I've also got a delivery of "enormous wood" coming today:rotfl: :T I bought some new fish last weekend after shuffling the fish I have around a bit. They're a bit gorgeous, and I shall post a photo if anyone is interested in it? I already have 4 (yes, four!) pre-orders for about a year's time when they are old enough to breed!!
First wedding of the year is done and dusted, was great fun (except for the extortionate taxi costs!) to see people who we've known for many many years but not seen at all in the past few.
Exercise and sugar control has completely gone out of the window. My back is complaining, a lot. I need to get organised. Last month's food bill was over budget and I don't even know how, but Lumpy is STILL eating me out of house and home, so I think my budget needs to increase. On a positive note though, last night I used LO chicken and gammon trim from my butcher to make a really yummy chicken and ham pie. And I had enough chicken for curry at a later date, and enough gammon for 3 more meals, so they've gone in the freezer.
That's all for now - must get back to this essay :eek:Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

My back is much better today, thankyou
what gets me is actually sitting on the computer chair writing assignments. Several days of sitting at the computer non-stop is v.painful. I submitted my third assignment last night (doesn't seem like that long since I got the last one back!), so straight onto the next one now - doesn't have to be in until June 12th, but the first week of June is half term and I don't want to do it then so I'm starting it now.
In leu of back pain, I apparently decided it'd be a great idea to burn myself with the hot air gun. it doesn't hurt though... I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing... :undecided
We decided we're not starting on bathroom stuff until the bedroom is finished. We've almost finished stripping the old paint off, so then we need to sand it, fill in any holes with polyfiller, sand those, wash it all, then start painting. Meanwhile, Lumpy is sleeping on his mattress on the girls bedroom floor, his cabin bed is in our bedroom in pieces, the house is covered in toys/clothes (oh no wait, that's normal!), and there's a bathroom in my living room  nightmare! :rotfl:
I need to do a bit of a checkup on where we are financially, but can't really do it now. I shall book it in for tomorrow perhaps. I sold an ornament that I removed from my tank, and have a buyer for my CO2 kit, who is going to pay a deposit today or tomorrow. I was hoping to go to a lcoal fish auction today but ended up being unable to as manwife spent all day stripping paintRule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.

Don't you just hate it when you sell something, and have already spent the money you make within a few hours?!:eek: :rotfl::o:oRule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.
