Indeed, I believe it was the third time in about the past 12-13 years that everyone's been together. There was a lot of agreement that we should all make more of an effort and have a family get together sometime soon.

Must go write a shopping list and have some lunch. Today is going quickly, I hope the rest of the weekend slows up!

  • Thanks Caz. Just got back from a damp but fab street party. Not letting the rain get the better of us :). Will check out the journal. Best wishes Tilly x

Almost at the end of another credit card month. Am well within my food budget of £400 this month, but have quite overspent on pet purchases and our DIY budget (the hot air gun and yet more paint for Lumpy's bedroom have done that!). Overall though, I am within my £700 monthly budget for purchases.

Manwife has started getting a lift to work with a colleague - hopefully halving the travel costs for both, which should be good (although we won't really feel it for another 6 weeks or so).

The tax credit notice arrived and we'll get a whole £2 per month more than the previous one said :rotfl: I guess every little helps though!

  • Hi Caz, I remember Mr Tilly suffering when doing OU studies. Go and up the kettle on, have a cuppa and see if it looks any better :)

    Good luck Tilly x
