    its utter rubbish just go onto this website and do a soft search i put bogus name in with bogus adress i put on i was unemployed had no bank account been made bankrupt and i got accepted ! its a farceand its same with the nationwide one

    its rubbish it not a soft search i put down i was unemployed with bad credit history and got accepted for £4500 if i had proceeded it would haver got declined

    Agree with the fluid comments, just done the same and it said I had a good chance of acceptance!!
    However the nationwide soft search is not a farce, I've gone through the process and got one as has my husband. He got a better apr than me :)

    ok i know the fluid one is a farce but not sure on nationwide

    You won't know unless you proceed to the final stages of the application process.

    I got accepted last night, but have no way of comparing your circumstances to my own.

    Agreed. I don't think the Nationwide soft search is a farce either.
