I applied this morning - got a quote of 19.9% with a credit limit of £3800 - so progressed it and got declined...I think therefore as others have said, the interest rate is the clincher...not always...but a strong indicator...Never argue with an idiot. Especially not this idiot because I'm always right anyway.0

Me and my girlfriend both applied for a nationwide select card. Both got accepted, she's on £3200 @ 9.9%' I'm on £3200 @ 12.9%.0

I got accepted at £2000 with 19.9%..... But I have been a customer for 12 years......I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0 -
