A big hello to all the new people!
My PC seems to have become slow, especially with the Thanks button, so some people I appear to have thanked twice, and those I think I have Thanked don't show up as having done so
My Mum bought me a Friends and Family Organiser and it's beautiful, predominantly pictures of lavender, and sometimes sunflowers and roses. (I love growing lavender and rosemary in the garden.) I so need to get all my contact details into one place, I have scraps of paper all over the house with names and addresses on; I gave up with sending my Christmas cards out as I couldn't find all the information I needed.:o
Well time I go and do some ironing, hopefully, there is something worth watching on the TV???
Take care

anniestar wrote:Ok you lot., I have been on here for a few weeks and I really need to know HOW DO YOU ALL DO IT??? EVERYONE(except me!!) gets SO much done, you all have things under control, busy lives, committments AND YET YOU GET THINGS DONE!!! Me spend ages thinking about things then get s*d all done ARRRHHHH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am (once again)speechless with admiration. Have a good afternoon love Annie(hangs head in shame!)XX
Believe it or not I am the world's worst procrastinator! The way I do it is lots of bribery and corruption. I tell myself that I am not allowed to do that nice thing I want to do (watch TV, read my book, eat that chocolate) until certain things are done.
And I started doing Flylady because I bl**dy hate housework!Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Afternoon everyone :hello:
HUGE ((((hugs)))) to all those that need them. It seems that there are too many to mention.
And Happy Birthday to those people who I missed over the weekend
I didn't have any work booked for today, so I slept with the 'phone next to the bed last night, in case of any early morning call. Of course, it didn't come, but I did get one a little later asking me to work this afternoon :j :j. But of course! The children weren't too bad, a couple of angels and too many horrors BUT you get that everywhere. I've got half a day of work booked for tomorrow. In fact, it's not as busy this week as it was last week, but at least there is work out there.
DH left this morning for Spain. The company that he works for has land in Spain, which means that every now and again he has to go and check out their IT infrastructure. He's got one of his IT exams next Monday, so he has taken his revision with him to do in the hotel.
Yet again, we have the mountain of ironing to rival K2 (not quite Everest as I did some this morning). I suppose that I'd better do some whilst watching some tv tonight.
My supper tonight will be a "sizzling steak stir fry" from the Good Food mag. Or it'll be fish and chips. Hmmmmmm, I'll see where my conscience takes me when it comes to decide. If I have fish and chips tonight, then it'll be sizzling steak stir fry tomorrow.......
Have a good evening everyone

Crazychik - i think Amazon is easier than ebay, mostly for books, cds and dvds, you just look for what you have, and then click on the 'sell similar', its pretty straight forward from there!!!!
Ive only just started to get organised, mostly thanks to moggins flylady - im a great horder, i dont like to get rid of anything, and always have piles of 'stuff' all over the place. Since starting flylady in the new year, ive started to make inroads into it all, and now im seeing results, its spurring me on to do more!!!!!
Right, im off for a bath, we've had dinner and the DW is on, and i fancy a bit of peace and my book whilst having a good soak!!!!!0 -
