    Result I think......

    Order arrived dead on 8pm,
1st checked the price, should of been £30.50 bill stated £138.63 quickly pointed this out

    Checked the order
    3 x Elevenes Raisin bake(12pk) = check
    9 x Rice Krispy bars (8pk) = check
    12 x Special K bars (12pk) = check
    15 x coco pops bar (12pk) = Not there

got advised to ring my local store and speak to the manager (nice chap)

he apologised and advised that the remaining order could be redelivered or collected which I agreed to do tomorrow..

Then the small matter of the over charge of £108, to which he assured that there was a computer glitch it had been returned as a query(due to the amount) and the full amount would not be taken, they have it down as £30.50 and that would be taken now on monday.....

So its all wait until monday now to see if thats true or not....

Just noticed the online order states full price too? was £30.50 (still have that on my email if needed)

Just an idea. All those of you who were charged full price on your invoice. It might be a good idea to put your invoice though mysupermarket. As all the products are the same price at other supermarkets so, you may get 10% cheaper back. Hope that makes sense.

if u pricematch it it uses the 3 for £2 not the full price and doesnt price match with ocado or tesco for the coco pops or squares

Um Legally if you have opened those packets they CAN NOT ACCEPT THEM BACK! as you could have tampered with them

I suggest ringing CS and telling them what you have been told to do!

Our shopping arrived yesterday (I was out so dp dealt with it) order should have been £50.30 and they were asking for £80 odd plus 3 things were missing! So dp tried to phone the branch he thought it had come from to be told it was another much further away - the entire time the driver is still there so I don't know why he wasn't told to phone a call centre? - and the first store were so useless he just told the driver to take it all back as it would be a nightmare to sort out.

However they didn't leave us any paperwork so I can't see what was going on, plus no cereal bars will show up on asda.com for me this morning, none of the ones in that order online seem to be showing as £2 for whatever amount now so I wonder if they were supposed to be 3 for 2 originally and someone mucked up with the 3 for £2?

Worryingly the order status says delivered but we didn't accept it, should it say refused or returned instead?
  • Well went to pick up the rest of my order that was missing from last night 15 x 12pk of coco pops cereal bars..

Straight to CS, where I waited 10 mins for someone from the home delivery to see me, they were aware of my missing items and took me to the cereal aisle to collect. We got to the cereal bars and there were no 12pk coco pops(thought here we go, there being cancelled of the order). To my surprise the assistant got on the phone there and then and got confirmation to give me 30 packs of the 6pks :) to which they agreed lol..

while walking me back to the entrance I got her to confirm the mistakes with the prices etc and she was aware of that too and reassured me that I would only be charged the amount when I placed the order.... So happy days Thanks OP
  • huge thanks to all on here, I rang CS this morning as had been overcharged as the 3 for £2 didn't kick in - guy I spoke to was very nice and explained that it was a known issue and he'd refund the amount I was overcharged! No problems at all!
