I did it last year, yes it works, but KEEP LISTENING to the cd. I stopped, i piled it back on. I'm back on it again and eating like a mouse, through choice! It's great!

  • i've been doing it since 2 jan and although i haven't weighed myself (not allowed to for 2 weeks) i have measured myself and i have lost 2 inches off my waist and one and a half off my hips so am inpressed. I only want to lose a stone maximum anyway. I did slimfast in 2000 - 2001 for 6 months and lost over 3 stone and got down to size 12 but have recently crept up to a size 14 so want to get it under control before i go up another size. It doesn't matter if you fall asleep with Mckennas cd as it goes 'in' anyway. I have found that if i ask myself if i am really hungry most of the time the answer is no and my portion size has really decreased alot but i like the fact you can have whatever you want when you are hungry.

Mics_Chick, if you can, put GMTV on, Mr McKenna is on shortly & it sounds like he will be discussing the weight loss idea/program

Looks like he's on every morning this week.

Thanks lottee I had a lie-in this morning cos I didn't get to sleep until 5am  so I only realised I'd missed it when I got up at 11am. But I'm gonna make sure I watch for rest of the week :D

I've got the CD, was impressed by her results, but still can't get focussed enough to do the daily 45 minutes listening to the CD

    It's only 25 mins not 45:)

fyi even if you fall asleep during hypnosis, your unconscious mind is still listening so it makes no odds. if hypnosis is going to work for you it will work whether you are 'asleep' or not

I agree with you thriftlady I'm not saying it's easy for people addicted to ciggies/alcohol/drugs/gambling/etc but it is something that you can avoid but you can't avoid eating!!
