Tesco misprices and discussion (Thread 12)

Best way to do this is to make a list of your shopping, stick it in mysupermarket and then get a printout of your shopping list comparing asda v tesco. Either go to shop at both Tesco and Asda or if no Asda nearby then shop at Tesco but pay separately for the items that are cheaper at Asda.
This way you are not buying stuff you dont need and there is a greater chance of a JTD voucher coming your way.
Note that not everything price matches.0 -

Weight watchers sausages were stickered at £2. So I thought, fab! As started ww today.
Still going through at full price of £2.59 each. Only I've only just noticed! Grrr
I should get dtd of £1.18 and as I bought 2 packs, £2.36 which is really just giving me one pack for free.
I want to email customers services, does anyone have the address?0 -
Hi
I'm new to online price checking and was wondering if I bought some of the Tescos 'Value' range products (such as tinned sweetcorn) whether these will be price checked against the Asda Smart Price range or does it have to be the exact same branded product to be price checked? Hope that makes sense! Thanks0 -

Sorry, another JTD, just got £3.76 back - cheaper to buy the dauphinoise potatoes and Nottage Hill Cab Sauv / Shiraz at Asda. Just put the meal deal through with a newspaper and TV guide.
Question re Comfort Concentrate, I am the only person who pours the 21 wash bottle into a 42 wash one then tops it up with tap water to stretch it? I know it's concentrated but teenage DD doesn't seem to 'read this' and will insist on just glugging it into the washing machine dispenser hole till it overflows. Shouldn't moan though as it's nice she helps out.:happylove Nanny to 2 Cherubs :happylove0 -
Darling Teenage Daughter!? Lol.
My Darling late 20's wife does the same, because, "I don't have the time to read instructions...!"
Great solution tho!0 -
I bought some cartons of cranberry juice from Tesco. Have a look at the best before date, it looks like its already expired;)0

ok, I can see this thread is going away from its intended purpose of misprices and wandering into the realms of JTD reports. I think it's time to sort it out so I will close this thread, make a new thread for reporting misprices and a seperate new thread for JTD (which will be in the It's gone section as it is primarily a discussion thread.)
New misprices thread is here
The thread for JTD discussions can be found here
