  • There are still lots of the go cook range stickered at 3 for 2 which doesn't come off at the till, especially the knives as the stickers are inside the sealed packet.

I've had DTD at 3 NI stores now with this - and a drawer full of new utensils!

Help - some advice please from all you savvy JTD hunters. I got a bit carried away when I started this a few weeks ago and put through some end of January receipts. I've just read the small print about only being allowed 10 price checks per month. Does any one know if their system will count the January receipts I put in in February as January or February?
    Did that make sense?
    Thanks in advance

Make up an email address and put the Feb ones through again if you're in any doubt. ;)

Ok, 6 meal deals ordered yesterday with the Guano wine. I got a £10 off £50 for click and collect, which was a through the door leaflet. A further £2.10 comes off for the 6 bottles 5% discount. I was then planning to submit on price checker to get about a £20 voucher for the jtd. However when I got there to collect, they had run out of Gu puddings so the meal deal did not kick in properly. I called Cs before I took the stuff away and he disc down to match the meal deal price, then took off the three puddings I didn't have at full price.
If jtd comes in tom should be about £17 for 6 meal deals minus 3 puddings.

Phase 2 tom use jtd and £5 off £40 spend on three deals and 3 mini bottles plus some normal bits like milk etc.

Hope this isn't a daft question but would you say it's better just to buy the things you know are going to compare cheaper to get the jtd? When i do a normal weekly shop i think some of the savings are being "eaten up" by other things and my difference never seems to be much eg. last receipt overall was cheaper however i paid 3.29 for cornflakes compared to asda 2.50 (others like this on receipt) but as receipt was cheaper overall i didn't get anything?
    Thanks for advice.
On plus did get 2.60 on one receipt at asda :T
    2012 Challenge £1923/£12000
    Jan GC £BUST/£100 = FEB £0/£150

I know what you mean, when I have a feeling this is gonna happen I split the shop and put it through the till in 2 transactions, so the things I know should give me JTD don't get 'eaten up' like you say, by the cheaper things. I just put the till separator across the 2 shops and say to SA that's my mum's shopping and she lets me use my clubcard on her shopping:rotfl:.

Also tip for anyone who's collecting the Thomas premium knives, there's a voucher in Mr T Real Food Booklet where you don't have to spend £20 to get in-store equivalent coupons (thanks to DH for this as he spotted it while he was waiting for me in the cafe :T .

Another thing, don't know if anyone can answer this. If you buy a Thomas Cook's knife which scans at £16.99 and say, a chopping board which scans at £26.99 this would total £43.98 before you hand over vouchers to get them both for £12.98. Would this generate a £5 off £40 spend? It's just that I seem to remember it did when the Thomas Cookware coupon collect was on last year. TIA ;)

Hi totally agree with not buying too much bits we don't need, but this is a lot of food and wine for the money and works out that way as the jtd is coming off the disc meal deal price. The reason I got the six was to use the other disc voucher and disc.

And if as you say, live in New York USA, you would need to buy several boxes to cover the cost of your flight. :rotfl::rotfl:
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
