Just a question, i found an old SEL today and got DTD, as i was leaving i saw the duracel batts still with bogof that is ood. how do you all go to CS all the time for misprices and not get found out that you are just finding the misprices on purpose?
They probably know but they can't prove anything. I always stride towards the doors checking my receipt, furrow my brow, then head to customer services.

A couple of times they have mentioned that I often seem to be overcharged but I tell them it is because I check my receipt, 99% of people don't, and they are all getting ripped off by Tescos. Usually shuts them up.

I think the Duracell 4pks have continued on BOGOF which is annoying because there are tons on clip strips. The 6pks haven't but are rarer.

I got it yesterday, but interestingly this wine no longer listed as being part of the meal deal, so perhaps they've taken it off? Be worth seeing if it still triggers though, I'd have thought? Then say, oh must have picked up the wrong wine, if it doesn't work?

I'd be worried if CS staff were making such remarks to me.

Yup, me too, your cards are marked there. Best to spread it over as many stores as you can easily get to. I only do high value DTDs in stores I don't often go to and I only do a very few low value ones in my local - much easier to do the glitches there as you can stay below the radar. In the past if I've spotted a good DTD and don't want to take it up I've passed it on to someone less local.

Getting a ban from your local only makes things more difficult (and also embarrassing) for you!
  • Hi Guys,

This is my first post, so please be gentle!

If I spot an item which is incorrectly priced and DTD applies, what do I do if CS refuse to give me DTD. I have read on here that you email or speak to CS @ HO, however what do they require? Is it a copy of the receipt, picture of the SEL lable etc? If you could let me know I would appreciate it.

    Thanks in advance
