Tesco misprices and discussion (Thread 12)

how funny after having issues last week in tescos with the dtd on something i emailed and got the dtd, i just popped in to grab some eggs and bacon and some other bits and when i left a manager told me i was now banned from the store for too much dtd

oh well there is another 3 main stores and 4 express near me so im sure one will let me in lol

nope not kidding, but i forgot to ask how long for :rotfl:
i did ask if they wanted my shopping back but he kindly said i could keep it this time:p

havent laughed that much in ages but am quite shocked :eek:

give him his dues he was very polite about it

You now need to email [EMAIL="philip.clarke@uk.tesco.com"]philip.clarke@uk.tesco.com[/EMAIL] and ask why you are banned for the company eventually following their own procedures! A strongly-worded email is in order methinks!

I have to agree with this.

To be banned from a store for insisting that the branch staff abide by their company policy?

Outrageous! (Unless of course you actually think they have a point and you perhaps went a touch too far in your pursuit of bargains).

i probably did as i get something back quit wether often its something small or a large.

hubby panicked as he now thinks he has to do the shopping :rotfl:

will tell him tomorrow thats its ok and i can go to other shops


ooohh just a thought , do you think they will still let me do click and collect?

this happened to me in October...I was accused of 'actively seeking DTD' and asked to leave the shop and they told me I was banned for life!!! I just shrugged at them and left...but I was mortified...luckily, like you I have other stores I can use....I will eventually go back in that store....hoping to do it on a weekend when its busy!!! And if they ask me to leave etc then I will take it further by emailing HO, but I didnt want to raiise my profile and have them looking into my cc activities....and most certainly since then I have profited many times from Ts...with various price errors and glitches etc, so didnt do me too much harm...just dented my pride a bit!!

I also had it done to me just before xmas with the lamb glitch! I stayed away until after the new year and just went in (as it was my local) Nobody has said a word!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Just wait a while and try to go back.:)
