Just been to tesco k'minster and finally found the doormans spicy nuts for 1p. In the entertainment section.!

Just been to the W0tf@rd store and found quite a few clipstrips of the doormans spicy nuts dotted around, but only got a couple of packets. Found the 1p descaler packets as well, and the £1.01 Koko's. They were marked at this price with a SEL. Quite impressed with my shop! :-)

What is the 1p descaler deal please?(make, size etc)?

WOW what a very unsuccessful trip to tr3nt v4le, St0ke found nothing on my list Still no sign of kokos, no more mingles anywhere ... looked for doormans only found salted said £1 scanned £1 ... saw the love hearts 4 for £1 69p each but to be honest don't think its that much of a good deal even though big packs ..... loads of those Mr men and Little miss gummies but wasnt sure if its only the barcode ending 775 which is glitched so didnt bother trying scan others ... just heard thorntons premium scanning at £2 SEL £8 but only just got back so will have a look prob 2moz .......... also checked the Xfactor pizza which was £2 for the last few weeks (selling off I guess cos the show has finished!) have read it was back to £3 but SEL was still £2 well was £3 with £3 SEL why put it up anyway Mr T??

On the plus side did get some essentials and paid with a £5 daily mail gift card so free shop!

Also I bought a pack of the tesco value market bacon 1.57 but when I came to scan it was NO LABELS BARCODE or nothing on it (prob could have just taken it if i was a thief which I am not hahaha) asked runner/assistant to change it BUT is the any policy on things like this when it doesnt have ANY label on it ?? could I have got it for free (legally!) ?? thoughts??

I believe the policy is that they will not sell the item to you as it could be past sell by date, give you food poisoning and leave them liable.

There's some 'Melitta anti calc filter cafe & aqua machines' which I found on a clipstrip, oddly, in the squash/juice section. It's a packet of 4x12g tablets for descaling coffee machines/kettles. b/c ends 5106. HTH!

You're not alone. I've seen them in the wine and beer aisle of one of my locals:)

I looked instore and the 925ml was on offer at £5 and it states new size on the container so I reckon it just the old size ones kicking about that are cheap as the 925ml are scanning at £5
