Tesco misprices and discussion (Thread 12)

I have just come back from Mr T in H4verfordw3st - they've taken the scanner out

No idea if it's been moved but I certainly didn't see it anywhere and didn't fancy standing in the massive queue at CS to ask about it! Anyone else know what's happened to it?

OEL St P worcs, got 6 packs of fajhita kits, went through at full price, label said dinner kits etc etc. went to CS, showed the lady the labels and she agreed with me- phoned manager and got the DTD. Not sure what happened with the labels. No £1.27 air freshners or barbie bracelets.

Warndon, found 1p nuts-spicy peanuts and satay mix on full clip strips, didn't get any as had them from St Ps previously.

I have just been to my local tesco in d1bden, hythe and the x factor chicago town pizzas were labelled at £2 but were scanning at £3 so got dtd making them £1 each. I don't know whether this was just here or if it is elsewhere too.

Been reading this thread for a while now and so far failed to get any of the deals. North@mpton e@st Hunsb*ry store seems to be one jump ahead of the glitches. Local store is Towcest*r and they don't seem to stock many of the deals (eg Mingles, Kokos) and most of the other opportunities (cdm OEL, lamb etc) also don't seem to present themselves here. Did get a £12 voucher from head office CS after being refused 3 4 2 on OEL dinner kits though and finally found a proper glitch, the Splenda 100s for 1p. These were on a strip and I notice that lots of other 1p deals mentioned here seem to be on strips. Is this the norm?

I think items on clipstrips tend to have a smaller turnover than items on the shelf, staying there for longer and allowing the items to devalue down to 1p or thereabouts. Afterall most 1p finds are old old stock (barring a few very recent stock mistakes, and the true glitches ) so it makes sense that these are most often overlooked. Just my 0.02.

Only details I had were from pg 114 somewhere Japanese Tatamai (national geographic world range-green one), think it is air wick, person said they found the air freshener for £1.27, they didn't say which one ie plug in or reeds or what. I would guess plug in for that price- I scanned one of the reeds things and it was full price, there were no plug ins.
I have had the plug ins for cheap before but that was a few months ago and a different store.

the air freshener is a plug in and available in several large stores for about 4 weeks.

also the jewel air freshners on clip strips sel 99p scan for 25p and the neutradol blocks in the car section scan for 50p
