Tesco misprices and discussion (Thread 12)

sorry if i'm posting this is the wrong place but in tesco today they had big bottles of herbal essences shampoo and conditioners at 85p which is a good price but they were buy one get one free making them even more of a bargain!

I find the Tesco Discussion Chat & Grabbits 11+ Xmas/New Year Edition is brilliant. I have loads of shortcuts to threads all over my desktop. I try to keep them to one corner so DH doesn't mess with them. HTH

oh noooooo. The one upstairs has been playing up lately so if the one downstairs is gone. Are there any things to be found in hwest. going in tomorrow x

I tried the Old El Paso offer and it didn't go through on the till. I went to customer service and they said that if it wasn't with a yellow tag then it wasn't in the deal. I said that no dinner kits were in the deal then so it is misleading. She took me round to the Old El Paso section and found 1 dinner kit that was on the offer (but out of stock) so said that they were keeping their end of the bargain so I had to give up.

Any point contacting CS?

Ambi Pur Japan Tatami Plug In (80 days) b/c ending 9040.
On shelf with wrong sel (sel was for just the refill and stated £5)
scans through at £1.27. hth

Bought one pack of these today, (flushable toilet tissue wipes) as the yellow SEL showed them on promotion from £1.88 to £1.00.
Luckily brain was switched on for a change and checked my receipt before leaving the store and found they had gone through at full price.
Went to CS and again a manager had to be called to verify. She went off in one direction and I said to the CS she went the wrong way.
She came back and said 'NO, they're £1.88'.
I said no they're not, come with me! I frog marched her to where I found them (that felt good!!) and showed her the SEL.
She promptly removed it and said 'you'll get your money back' so I said I assume you mean dtd.
She was the first trout I have come across in Wck store and I don't like being spoken to as if I'm trying to pull a fast one. She said 'they're priced differently over on the main section'. So I just said 'I don't care' and waited for my money.
No need to treat customers like that. It looked like a genuine promotion to me and the fact it had been inputted on their system incorrectly is hardly my fault!

And not sure if this is a glitch or just a very weird promotion but love hearts in a tube which are 69p each are on offer at 4 for £1.00!!! And they go through the til at this.
