  • i think I'm starting to get the hang of this thing now. Just managed to get some Dormen nuts for 1p at Towc3st3r store and also had a result on the Thorntons premium chocs (although not the same as mentioned above). They were reduced from £8 to £5 and although the normal packs did scan at £5 there were some gift wrapped boxes (code ending 5518) with a red bow that scanned at £8. I bought 3 boxes and after paying went to CS where a SA told me that they were a different product with a different code and so weren't in the offer. I said that I wasn't interested in the code, just the advertised offer of £5. After about 5 minutes she rang the duty manager who agreed with me and after dtd I was given a £18 refund. Result!

Clipstrip atems can be ANYWHERE in the store - I have seen false eyelashes in the wine section:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

New to the whole clipstrip "Scene" have noticed they can be found almost any random parts of the store .. in terms of finding the prices of things on clip strips whats the best approach/way?

Hi Can you tell me if T0wcest*r has a working scanner? I'm visiting friends over the holidays so thought I'd visit Mr T's at the same time - be rude not to!

Ariel excel washing bio gel (1036 ML ) @ tesco instore was £8.17 on sale for £5. but scanning at £2.04

Chocolate fingers are white Halloween ones called Freaky Fingers - were reduced to 1p after Halloween so probably not many left out there...

Only one person has found the Ariel at that price - lots of arguing over on HDUK as usual as everyone else saying £5 in their store. God, they're a miserable lot aren't they, slagging each other off and some people won't post when they do find deals cos are just sick of being slagged off. They won't even believe people unless they post a picture up of their receipt.

Glad we're a much friendlier bunch here (most of the time :snow_laug )

I guess you could make some kind of loose connection between having a glass of wine before going out - hence the false eyelashes...perhaps :D

    Silly question BUT .....

    ... why didn't you TRY 6 ?

Might have knocked £2.68 off the rest of your shopping :)

    (6 x £1.28 = £7.68 - Multibuy Discount of £2.68 = £5)

May have kicked in on 6 jars at 28p
