  • Ariel excel washing bio gel (1036 ML ) @ tesco instore was £8.17 on sale for £5. but scanning at £2.04

Just got back from a quick shop in C@tter1ck. The smaller bottle of this are SEL'd at £4.50 but scanning at £7.19 meaning they only cost £1.81 with DTD. I didn't need any coz i've still got about 6 bottles left from the last glitch, but might help someone.

1p chrome coloured nutcrackers, yellow sel 1p scanned 1p. went through normal checkout, young sa laughed and pointed out price and I told him the label said 1p.

found last week in fruit and veg aisle by the nuts in shells. Not on clipstrip, but in large green box that they sell the fruit and veg in.

I managed to find a couple ariel gel of the 1036ml bottles lurking at the back amongst all the 925ml bottles but it was still £5. I did managed to pick up one of the christmas cake mixes for £2 though, it's sat in the oven at the min.

Do you have the barcode or the make? Were they on a clip strip by any chance!

sorry dont have a make or barcode on the nutcrackers, it was on a sticker wrapped round the handle and it got torn off and binned. not on a clip strip, but in the large green fruit and veg boxes. They had loads in the box.
  • Not sure that there is a scanner there.

However, Towcester is staffed by a mix of complete bumpkins and utter jobsworths.

This is the only store to apply the 'one per household per day' rule when using the pricecheck vouchers.

No scanner I'm afraid. Have to do it all the hard way!

Thanks for the update - here's hoping there's a good glitch so I don't have to use the scanners :D

Yes, a 4 pack of Love Hearts can be bought in Home Bargains for 49p.

I'm aware that this is the Tesco thread and obviously wouldn't have posted this particular HB deal (or any other for that matter) here unless it was relevant.

You posted the "bargain" of 4 tubes/rolls for £1 - I merely pointed out that 4 "tubes" in a pack for 49p were mentioned to be available elsewhere by another MSE member on another thread.

Where in "Middle England" are you ?

I am told there is a HB in Coventry but I avoid the place like the plague - prefer to come back to a car with its wheels still on.
Sorry to all the really nice Coventrians I'm sure are out there.;)
