  • Was meant to post this yesterday, went to my local 'normal' store on Portland, where in the freezer isle they had 'Simply Heat Beef Ribs in a Tennesse Rub' box of 4, sel stated reduced to clear from £5 to £1.25. So we grabbed 4 boxes, though after going through the till noticed we were charged full price i.e total of £20. So went to C.S and were given a DTD refund of £30! Wahayy, thats 4 boxes of ribs for free and £10 profit :)
    SEL was removed.

There is one or two small area's of Coventry that are 'habitable' but unfortunately the morons that live in the rest of Coventry are prepared to walk to these nice areas to commit there crime, stay clear. Although both me and my partner work there we both refuse to live there. Plus the Tesco Arena is always wiped of glitches and 1p bargains

I think I saw the same poster, I would phone CS and get the official version, or email them and get it in writing. Have you got another Tesco nearby? Worth a try to see if you get told the same, dont just take what first store says if you are not happy about it.

  • Not sure if it was in this thread that mentioned the brand new Tefal cookware that is going through at ridiculous prices in Tesco.

But I bought the cake pan for 37p. The man said I couldn't take it off the shelf because the price isn't live and is only activated for the Boxing Day sale but I grabbed one when he wasn't looking.

Feel half tempted to walk back to tesco to grab some more in particular the roasting dishes.

I got the cake pan today but it was Pyrex make, also got the baking tray for 70p. They have been in some stores for a few days, in the seasonal aisle where I found mine.

Wouldn't bother walking back now - they closed at 7.00
  • Got 3 x 20cm cake pans. SEL was £0.37. However, got charged £3.50 at self service checkout.

    Got refunded £18.78 DTD.
