I have Just been to the N*ttingham Bulwell store went to the seasonal section, sale items to find that the pyrex classic 20cm tin was showing a SEL of 37p. The shelf was empty, but out of reach on the top shelf was boxes and boxes of new stock, i asked a young lad who worked in the store if he could get them down and he did (very helpfull). I scanned them and sure enough they scanned at £3.50  (i was over charged by £3.13 and got DTD £6.26 for each one ) and got paid to take it out of the store. thank you very much.:A
THE BARCODE ON THE BACK OF THE TIN IS 3426470010344

Happy hunting and best wishes for 2012.

    Well done!!

    Is it this one please?

Got some of these in my local tesco, sel of .37p and got my DS to take a photo of the label on his phone. Checked on the self scanner and they scanned at £3.50 as they have for everyone else.

So got 4 of them and paid £14 amonst all the rest of my shopping.

Goes to Customer services and the SA wouldn't let me have them for .37p as she went and checked and someone had removed the .37p label. Showed her the photo on the phone and she wouldn't back down all she would offer was a refund.

I politely argued and she eventually called the manager who agreed I can have them for .37p but no DTD. He said if I argue he will cancel the sale altogether, to which I told him he couldn;t as I have paid. Well I got them for .37p but not happy at no DTD so will phone Head office tomorrow.

Yes they are these ones, I bought 4 today at N3wt0wnards store and got £25.04 DTD :D
Also bought DS a set of technika in ear headphones silver b/c 5052109603021 SEL £2.97 but scanned at £4.97 so £4 DTD.
They also had these in pink and a set of blue ones in a different style OOD SEL half price at £4.97

They had so many OOD SELs that I could have had a field day, so many phones and other electricals, just had to look carefully at the date on them cause some end 25/1 and others 25/12 but DS and Mum ruined it by constantly asking me infront of SA, who was dealing with an other customer with an electrical queery, which one's were OOD and not doing it too quietly
Anyway will check again tomorrow to see what I can find.

Also not too happy as they've put up the prices of their TV's for the 19" and 22" hope they reduce them in the Jan sales cause DS birthday in 2 weeks and that's what he wants but he's been given a budget and doesn't want to pay more than he needs to so some of the money he saves can go on games for his nintendo:rotfl:
    I've taught him well!

  • Just now I bought two 350g packs of the Pilgrims Choice Extra Mature Cheddar. The packs are £4.49 each and were labelled as being on a BOGOF offer.

However they went through with no discount applied so I got a DTD refund of £8.98. This meant I got them for free.

  • Panasonic KX-TG1612, 2 phone pack - sel 29.99, charged 64.99 so dtd of £70, profit of £5.01

I'm pretty sure there is a 30p a pack voucher on the coupon thread too so a small profit possible. :)

Can I ask if it is possible to get DTD later after you leave the store?
I was in a hurry and somewhat distracted yesterday and thought my shopping was a bit over what I expected, but it wasn't until I got home and checked, that I realised I had been overcharged on 2 things.
A big packet of Haribo should have been £1.39,but I was charged £2.75.
Got 2 tins of Ambrosia custard as it was on offer at 2 for £1, but got charged 85p each.
With DTD that would give me £4.20 or so back.
Only problem is,it'll be Friday before I can get a chance to get back there. Can I go and ask in another store?
I'm so cross with myself for not being on the ball.
ring customer service or email them, and explain what happened- i did this and attached a scan of my receipt which showed what i had been mischarged on and explained the SA had only given me refund and not DTD. they got back to me and apologised and posted me the DTD in a giftcard :)
i thanked them and suggested they send out a reminder memo to their customer service desks as their staff obviously dont understand their own policies :rotfl:

Well done, nice touch about the memo too. Couldn't agree with you more.
  • Don't you find it funny how the customer service people are sometimes so useless and looking like you are robbing them, when really they are the ones making the mistakes?! i think i might need to start working there just to be nice to all the DTD customers! (and then tell people about all the glitches as they walk in ;) hehe!)
