Can I ask if it is possible to get DTD later after you leave the store?
I was in a hurry and somewhat distracted yesterday and thought my shopping was a bit over what I expected, but it wasn't until I got home and checked, that I realised I had been overcharged on 2 things.
A big packet of Haribo should have been £1.39,but I was charged £2.75.
Got 2 tins of Ambrosia custard as it was on offer at 2 for £1, but got charged 85p each.
With DTD that would give me £4.20 or so back.
Only problem is,it'll be Friday before I can get a chance to get back there. Can I go and ask in another store?
I'm so cross with myself for not being on the ball.
You can try if the wrong SELs are still on but if they've removed them it would be more difficult. Your best bet would probably be to phone head office on 0800 505555 to complain.

Of course you could pop back in to see if they are still mispriced and stock up as they are good DTDs - 30p for 2 tins custard and pennies for the Haribo.

Thanks for that. I will give CS a ring and see if they can do anything.
As for popping back, I would love to, but I won't have the car until Friday and it would cost in bus fare what I would get for DTD.

Similar thing happened to me, CO scanned a £5 item 3 times not 2, so £5 overcharge, and something else went through at the wrong price & i'd bought 10!! Didn't noice 'til I got home
So I complained via twitter and after a bit of tooing and froing, phone calls and such, plus a scan of my receipt, I got a £17 DTD card through the post. :T

OOD/incorrect SEL 127g pacs of Doritos. They are on the clip strips, some saying 99p for 127g and some saying 99p for 110g. But all the packs were 127g with a corner saying £1.29, which is what they scanned at. Got 60p DTD for each pack.

You all probably know this (I didn't!) but SA said offers change Tuesday night so presumably tomorrow is a good time to look for more OOD SELs.
  • i posted this on the main grabbit board.

tesco glitch, half price plus 342.

i just brought 6 rolls of tesco vaule xmas paper. was 14p now 7p. went through the till as 7p but also took of a extra 14p for the 3 for 2 offer.

  • I have Just been to the N*ttingham Bulwell store went to the seasonal section, sale items to find that the pyrex classic 20cm tin was showing a SEL of 37p. The shelf was empty, but out of reach on the top shelf was boxes and boxes of new stock, i asked a young lad who worked in the store if he could get them down and he did (very helpfull). I scanned them and sure enough they scanned at £3.50  (i was over charged by £3.13 and got DTD £6.26 for each one ) and got paid to take it out of the store. thank you very much.:A
THE BARCODE ON THE BACK OF THE TIN IS 3426470010344

Happy hunting and best wishes for 2012.

I'm not sure ... and this is only my opinion ... but I'd doubt you'd be able to get any joy from another store since they'd have to check the SEL. However, as far as getting DTD after leaving the store is concerned ... one store (an express) that I've had DTD from (twice now) asked if I had left the store because if I hadn't it didn't count!!! I think this particular Mgr has made this 'rule' up ... so I always make a point (in this store) to wait until I am outside to check my receipt. HTH
