  • I just tried OEP dinner kits but no 3for2 so tried CS but told not on offer. Tried ringing CS & the guy apologied & said he would forward my comments to HO. That was it. I'm not doing too good at this like. Lol.

    *was at north shields extra*

I had to be quite persistent with them and they still refused but CS (via phone), even after checking their system and confirming to me that the dinner kits were not on offer, offered me £15 in vouchers as a way of saying sorry for the terrible customer service I received. They said that even if they were not on offer on the system I should have had the offered honoured and DTD if it stated "dinner kits" on the SEL - as it was clearly confusing and misleading. Sorry you werent so lucky.

Some people got it yesterday, I believe - no reports today though.
  • Went back today to try and get more OEP, scanning through at normal 3for2 now. Gutted I didn't drive back yesterday and get more! Did get some Mingles for £1.01 though, so have them to look forward to :)

just a bit of topic, how can tescos delivery slots be taken days ahead of time when they can only be reserved for 2 hours, are people just sitting there reserving them every 2 hours.

It's my understanding a lot of people add a small amount to baskets , check out and then amend/ add to order closer to the delivery date.
  • I havent had much luck lately with tesco! I tryed the OEP deal and it didnt work! then went to tesco axtra and found loads of dormans nuts.. I scanned one (salted peanut) which was full price.. then a spicy lime and chilli one which scanned at full price again! There were loads of dormans nuts around the store but wasnt really sure which one would scan at 1p? Any help?
Also picked up some of the pureety sauces.. 1 bbq and 1 thyme one.. which again scanned at full price :( However on the plus side I did pick up one last box of mingles (which i planned to give to work but ended up eating them all oops! :) ) and I also spotted some espresso cleaning tabs which scanned at 1p! Soo many clip string items dotted about the store... wonder how many of them scan at 1p.. would love to try them all lol!
  • Had trouble finding any glitches at the Holyhead branch but then found the Koko chocs with a SEL of £1.01, so got a couple for presents, then came home and ate a whole box with the kids LOL!

Gutted I couldn't find any others, but will try again another day!

Had a result at Y0rk branch today. Got paid £12 to take away 3 packs of larger instead of paying £20.

Got a 12 pack of Miller, 12 pack of Corona and 6 pack or Pear Magners. Which scanned at £26 instead of £20.

When to Customer Services for my £12 DTD refund, but the guy first refunded me the full £26, and then went to re-charge me £20. At this point I said it should really be £14 as they owed me £12 back not £6.

After he tried to say he was actually doing me a favor as the Miller was not in the offer, he backed down and asked another girl to re-scan everything and put it through at £14 as he didn't know how to do it. At this point she did a standard DTD refund and gave me another £12 back while he watched.

I was amazed that he said nothing, so promptly left with my 3 free packs and £12. Result!!

I think it was the Miller that caused the wrong charge, but can't be sure.

Also got a couple of Koko packs for £1.01, there were quite a few left on the self.
  • It would be the corona that was the problem. It's not in the 3 for £20 offer
I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the Ramada/Days Inn BRG thread.
