I had a result too last night! Had not intended to get a meal deal but wanted a topup and some Comfort (5 for 25p with printable vouchers plus pricedrop £1 off wys £5 on household products), so went to Mr T. There was a lonely smoked haddock risotto... Got another 2 x 3 for £12 wine, so meal deal wine was discounted, plus a price-drop £1 off wys £5 on chilled ready meals. Then went to CS and got £24.86 DTD. Was a bit disconcerted that it was so much! (Am not complaining.)

    My 1st ever 1p find - 3 x Dormen Satay nuts :j

Also, 39p Dormen pistachios, but with a BB date of 29 Nov 11. Will it be worth returning them to store? If they are likely to just refund exactly what I paid then I would rather just eat them!

Oh - and I relieved Mr T of 2 more £9 free range chickens for free, I gave these away as my freezer is alrerady full of them!!

    DW :D
    Blessed are the vegetarians.

Just came back from tesco ay@@@bury lots of choc, still scanning at 34p (got 10 for stocking fillers but loads left). Finest meal deal is working so hasty refund for me, 6 bottles of lindemans chardonnay this time 6x 6.79 = 40.74 minus 3 for £12 (16.74) then minus 25% (12.69 more than 25% actually )works out to £1.88 a bottle. Might go to the store in town later and then back to main one tomorrow. 25% ends tomorrow
  • I have managed to get the wine offer today. Ended up getting 24 bottles in the end.

Worked out I saved about £98 in total and was around £2.38 a bottle. Well worth stocking up.

The brown wrapping paper with coloured stripes is also back in stock in the Hull St Stephens store at 5p each. Now stocked up with 30 packs of them. Bargain! :T
  • could someone enlighten me about the FREE free range chickens???????

There is an offer on at the moment, Finest corn fed chickens half price £2.29 per kilo, in some stores they have full price chickens mixed in with the half price which means that when you are overcharged on the full price ones you get double the difference back which makes them free. But some stores have removed shelf age labels and promotional material so its luck of the draw whether its available near you. Good luck.
