Hi peeps,
I haven't done any tesco stuff since they changed to DTD, however accidentally got DTD today after querying nappy prices so it reminded me of the good old days!
Spotted a TV today at £449 supposedly with £150 off, SEL says deal expired end of Oct, so if i buy it and it goes through at £499 (new price) would i get £100 as DTD??0 -
not exactly sure of the figures you are quoting. if the tv is supposed to be £449 but the odd sel is saying its £150 off and its offered for £299 then you would be inline for £300 back if you were overcharged the £150.
alternatively if the tv is normally £599 and the offer is £150 off so the offer price is £449 then yuo would have to be charged the higher price for the overcharge an therefore the dtd to kick in.
DTD is double the amount that you were overcharged by the store
im trying to be helpful but confusing myself so im sure someone will be along soon how can confirm the dtd you could be able to claim if you were oversharged.SPC~12 ot 124

Just got back from Mr T... seen an offer on Nivea buy 1 get 1 free, but along side that big sign was a smaller yellow SEL stating B1G2F on certain mens shower gels and shaving gels (cool kick & moisturising). £1.85 each, 200ml
Barcode for cool kick is 5 025970 023236.
So I bought 3, but only got B1G1F offer, so went to CS, she phones Duty manager and was told no all nivea is B1G1F. I went to get the SEL, went back to CS, apologies etc called DM and told refund the difference.
The overcharge was for 1 can at £1.85 + DTD, so total £3.70.
But th lady got a bit confused (new staff), gave me £1.85 on my debit card, then £3.70 cash. Therefore I got paid £1.85 to take 3 cans away! But even if this works for someone else, you should still get 3 cans free.
Check the SEL in your store states B1G2F.
Dying to get get more, but as I had to take the ticket myself to Cs don't know if it will be put back!
To be fair 3 for £1.85 was a great deal anyway!0 -

If it is priced as £449 and you are charged £499 at checkout then yep you would be entitled to £100 DTD back. Good luck.:D0 -
Not really sure where to post this, so went for a new thread ...
A friend of mine was telling me how she was in T's stocking up to get the 5p petrol vouchers and thought she'd try it on by getting 2 lots of the £10 Finest Meal Deals to see if she got 2x5p vouchers.
As expected, she only got 1 voucher so went to Customer Services to try an blag another one. They didn't budge, but agreed to do a refund for one lot of the deal. When they scanned the 4 items for the refund it gave her £19.96 - ie full price, not the deal price!
She promptly unloaded the trolley, went back round and got the 2nd lot of deal stuff for £10. So net cost 4p for the deal stuff and got her 2nd petrol voucher. She was well chuffed!!!0 -
It was B1G2F all last week, on the cool kick, but you could never find any on the shelves. The offer has now changed to bogof and it sound like the yellow sel was left over from last weeks offer. good find.0

Ha! the figures are a bit strange because it looks like it was originally priced at 499 in this store, however they're advertising it as £449 with £150 off saying it has been advertised at 599 in most stores. so i'm guessing it'd go through at 449 which is the deal price, or 499 which looks like it was the original price in this store0 -
