I couldn't exactly go and buy them as she saw me looking.
Can confirm this is not working properly as this happedned to me earlier. I wondered if it was nationwide too. I only had a discount of £7 taken off so had been overcharge £6. Ended paying £19 for my 4 packs, I had 3 lots speckled hen £10 each and 1 magners £8. HTHs0 -

Surely with double the difference that should have been £12 refund?0 -
Got DTD on one of these today as went through till at £35 but had large red sticker half price toy sale £17.50 on the box. SEL was correct at £35.

Yes I got a £12 refund. My four packs came to £38, I only had £7 discount taken off so paid £31. Hence over charge of £6. Take my DTD £12 refund off the £31 that I paid originally and I ended up paying £19. Hope that makes sense.0 -

Thank you so much for your help smileyhaggis & czerniacha. Perhaps some more intelligent members may be able to answer/advise my query. I'm relatively new to this game & simply made a post to inform & ask experienced members if there was any possibilities with this. I though that was what this forum was for.0 -

Hi, I've already received verbal abuse from staff for getting my first DTD several weeks back so am very reluctant to try it again!
From Tesco CS assistants? Sorry, no-one should have to take verbal abuse from staff, likewise staff shouldn't be verbally abused. I would have been calling for the Manager (the Store Manager and the CS Manager) and told him in no uncertain terms that you were not prepared to take abuse for the fact that Tesco had mispriced their product, and you were receiving abuse for the Tesco implemented policy. I would have been highlighting as well that DTD is Tesco corporate policy and you were getting what you were entitled to, due to their mistake. Then I would have told him that the minute you returned home, you would be emailing philip.clarke@uk.tesco.com and making a formal complaint. I have to say that personally that is the route I would still take. I certainly wouldn't be belittled by Tesco CS staff, they brought in this policy in the first place because Trading Standards were inundated with complaints about Tesco pricing problems, and as an encouragement for customers to complain directly to them and not Trading Standards. It is not too late to make a complaint.0
