Yeah and 64 player Battlefield 2/2142, or any other decent FPS. World Of Warcraft too.
As to being cheaper, that's arguable. Cheaper to play games solely, but factor in that the extra cost in a PC is because you'll use it for other things than just games. I know I've spent over £650 on my 360."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
I have to say games on a pc far superior!
You can't beat keyboard mouse for first person shooters a lot faster and more accurate than a fiddly thumb joypad (probably why most console games have auto aim)
games like Company of heroes, command and conquer etc are unplayable without keyboard and mouse.0 -
Easy! Because it will be much closer to MacOSX (Tiger) than Windows XP.pault123 wrote:I work in IT Sales and am avoiding Vista like the plague, someone give me some valid reasons as to why I would go out and waste £50-£300 on it?
Of course it will be a long way short of MacOSX (Leopard) but that's the price you pay for sticking with MS.

Anyone got any definitive on the OEM EULA yet?
Its changed that many times i've lost track.
1. How many times can OEM Vista be reinstalled (eg system full of rubbish running slow, i want to backup then format drive and do clean install) - ive heard you can only do this once with OEM?
2. Exactly what is the limit on changing components? is it main components MOBO/CPU that class as a new system or lesser components GFX/HDD? (eg obviously gamers will all need 8800+ gfx sooner or later - is that a change?)0 -

Yeah but game consoles are un-upgradeable. Leading to yet another dinosaur cluttering up the cupboard, where my SNES, N64, Amiga, PS1 and Xbox are. And thats without mentioning the cost of the games and lack of them. Oh and none of them seem to be able to get on the MSE website.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A
