    Evening ladies,
I'm sort of in, sort of out this week as I start my 8 days of full time work tomorrow :D:eek::D. Everydailies plus bits off the lists done for yesterday and today. Spent a taxing hour and a half in the hair dressers this afternoon :p my unruly mane has now been cut, thinned, cut a bit more and thinned a bit more and tamed into a pretty damn sleek 'on-the-shoulder-professional-administrator' style.
wendy-witch: good to see you back honey x
pigpen: dot is sooo cute & tiny, well done & hope things are going well for you and family
LW: Derek & Clive - bless!
juliejim: good luck with the interview on Thurs!
    toots: thanks for the thread
jojo: hope minion is rested. I have heard that rubbing fabric conditioner round the freezer is good for non-build up of ice. Being too tight to buy it I can't vouch for its success :o
everyone: hugs, spoons, sticks & happy rainbow vibes.
Oh and my washing machine is being silly so I've had to book the repair man.

  • Good evening  I've cooked for me and DS and we've eaten. I have a cake and a batch of flapjack in the oven, and a lasagne to prepare for tomorrow, when I have friends coming for supper :j

Triker - sorry about the chook :(

I also have sad news - my Kenwood Chef has given up the ghost :( I've changed the fuse and DS has taken a look, but there's nothing obvious :( Will let DH take a look when he's back.

On a happier note, I succumed and bought Hugh F-W's new book :j I love River Cottage Everyday, so at £11, it should be a good investment :D

Going to have a surf, then DS and I will tidy up, before an early night and my book.

Hugs and spoons all round :A

    oo arts and culture week

which idiot had the bright idea of getting 30 y 3 children to bring in shoeboxes, paint a backdrop and make a 3D coral reef picture - because the IDIOT who thought of it has to trim the backdrops and fit them to each box, inside

    o that'd be me

Ok - well, I have done the dishes, decluttered the LR - again. Put away toys. Put away ironing, hung up wet washing, decluttered a phone call, chased LO upstairs out of the way, swished the bathroom

    Think thats it really...

In my school, us parents (with our children of course) have to do all the trimming and decorating of our own shoeboxes - the teacher only provides praise... ;)

a but when it comes to christmas shoeboxes I will be doing just that;)

they will look like little coral reefs when they're done - then they will be sent home - to be admired and appreciated.

I have washed up and dried and put away which is good for me because I do hate doing that!

  • Hi all,
DH has been at home today & has done a lot of todays jobs without realising that we have a list:D

I can't really do more as I think he'll feel that I'm critisising his hard work, so I decluttered the coffee table & put away all the clean clothes/ironing. Off to S&S the kitchen now & make a cuppa while DH is collecting Thing 1 from scouts.
