Morning all, hall carpet now down (no more cement floors :rotfl:). Blind man should be here soon, i can't wait to get my bedroom blind. :D

Need to shift myself today as i might be leaving my sister to the hospital in the morning and i want everything to run as smooth as it can (OH has to get the kids ready and out on time).

    So things to do now.
    1) clear livingroom floor
    2) clear kitchen floor
    3) clear front hall
    4) dust livingroom
    5) hoover all floors
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

In my HHC I emptied the 3 remaining suitcases and put away the clothes that we didnt wear (we took far too much) and added the washing to the forever growing mountain the the utility room. I unloaded and reloaded the WM. Whilst putting away the clothes I straightened the children's bedrooms and made all the beds.

I am hungry now but have made a cup of tea to keep me going until lunchtime.

I now need to find homes for the empty suitcases.

    1. The loft is out as there is evidence of a wasps nest (I can see them flying in and out from under the eves).

    2. The garage maybe but it gets damp in the winter?

    3. Maybe I will put the children's out of season boxes in the suitcases then they can go under the beds.

Modern houses do not have enough storage space
  • How did you get on Mumto5 and JJ, I'm still going (had a 5 min snack break)........

I've just stopped for lunch - still got some more stuff to do but hey.

However, I have had a letter to say that I've got an interview on Thursday so we'll see how that goes.

Jue best of luck for Thursday.:o

Towels and hankies have been washed, hung out to dry, and brought in and put away in the airing cupboard.

Black dress has been washed (has to be done on its own) and is still outside as it's not dry yet.

I'll be getting Mr LW to help with putting the throw from the sofa out for an airing tomorrow while he's wfh - weather permitting. It's too heavy for me to lift myself; it does protect the sofa from dog hair, though.:) It's a nice one, too, with a wolf picture on. Other than that, I just need to dust the lounge dragons and poke the smoke alarm, and my Flying will be up to date.:T

If anyone's interested to see Derek and Clive, btw, here they are:

Derek's the smaller black dog, Clive's black-and-white. You can also see what I mean about the throw.:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
