Popped to MrT, got a couple of bits, picked up DD, cleaned the front path (cause some lazy/careless dog owner left it right by my gate....either that or it's one of the dogs that has access to the streets!!!!), pasta on for DD....I don't know why but I feel shattered today.....think I will do a HHC to tidy up the lr then get on with the studying........

Hope you are all having a good day xx

Came in, reorganised fridge to take Mr T's bounty and defrosted, cleaned and reloaded mini freezer because I picked up a chicken for Sunday on the basis of the lowest price, not the longest date. After cleaning and drying the freezer, I had a thought - as oil is hydrophilic, surely if I coated the inside of the freezer with a tiny amount of cooking oil, this should make the thing less likely to ice up again? So I've tried this and await the results from my experiment  [this is where everyone else chips in with 'we do that already - didn't you know?']

:rotfl: - I dont do that, and I dont already know - so you need to come back and let me know if it works :T

  • Cleaner came today and did a not-bad job (no damages which is always good!) I, meantime, went into town then up to my mum's, then with her to the cattery, back to her's, home for lunch, *back* into town, round the shops and then home again. The repeat trip was the result of poor memory on someone's behalf ;p But I do now have a Christmas present to stow away and yarn for my next SANDS shawl.

I was going to go out tonight (to Stitch 'n' !!!!!) but am feeling tired and shivery (a cold?) and really can't be doing with a third trip into the city. Fortunately I have a bus pass.

I was also going to have a go at Tuesday's list this afternoon but shall take tonight off and hope I'm feeling better tomorrow. I wonder what Wednesday holds for us?

Morning routine was done this morning and the evening swish 'n' swipe will happen when I've eaten. Aha - was that the cooker timer pinging?

Many loads of washing washed and dried and folded.

One of my chickens has died so hubby is going to recycle her in a mo.:(

Two pillows bought to replace the crushed, rubbish ones I disposed of last week.

Oh and I forgot to mention the Rag and Bone were round today so they took my old dishwasher away for me...yippeee.

  • i havent done alot today at all.

im off to make some beds as soon as kids get lego tidied up. they can brush teeth and get changed while i make beds then its wash their faces and fire into bed coz story was done before tea!

ive downloaded some stuff to watch so i think ill head to bed and watch that with some sweets and try to get comfy and have an early night.

doubt it will happen quite like that coz ive already had a text off my best mate asking if i have a spare pregnancy test so i can feel tonight being eventful to say the least!
  • evening,

I haven't looked at the lists yet. Been busy at work.
I was up twice in the night to deal with a vomiting cat.
DH not well today - a strain of man flu without any of the flu like symptoms.
I'm just cooking dinner then I will see if I have any energy left.

    Catch you later
